OMG! The game haven't even started yet and there is already a fight going on:rolleyes:   . Let's cool it down people, so that this thread wont be closed, before the game even starts. I can say it should be a close game. If anyone wants to argue, do it after the game, when you will have something to but for now just please wait about 18 hours and then start whatever you want. (especially SoDragx)

not that i want it, but i think porto will get trashed tomorrow at old trafford.

they better hold on the draw for the first 20 mins and they might have some chances even to win this game. not that i care about it.

It is a fact that Porto is in good form, that's why he's such a loudmouth. Can't wait to see what he says when they get booted out of OT..... start making up excuses like he said Fergie does lol!! You people are building up the platform higher and higher and higher and eventually ONE side has to fall. Personally I think FCP will fall harder because they already have 2-1 advantage (H)

sodragoes has talked a lot of trash. That i agree with, but you gotta admit he loves FCP more than me, and i really like FCP. Trust me if you were a Porto fan you all would been extremely happy by beating Man u.

Ps. Even if we do get trashed i'll still be proud of my boys, no matter what the scoreline, unlike many Man U fans that have publicly stated their embarassement and shame over their teams performance, i'll always be proud of my teams accomplishmnet.:rockman:

let's have a good game tomorrow, and let the best team win!!!

Fergie Relishing Porto Challenge

Sir Alex was in good spirits ahead of United's second leg Champions League clash with Porto at Old Trafford. Here's what he had to say to the English and Portuguese press....

Hard Work
Given our home record we have to be confident. But as with all European games we play here, there's a job to be done. I don't think we've ever gone into a European tie not knowing that we have to work hard and play well. And Tuesday is another game in that context. It'll be a difficult game for both sides but I would anticipate a good atmosphere which always helps us.

Tough Draw
I said before the first leg, I thought we'd got the hardest draw. The tie between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid was historically the biggest game, but I thought we had a tough draw against Porto. I thought we got off lightly in Portugal and it won't be an easy game on Tuesday. There's very little between the sides but you would have to think we'll improve dramatically from the first leg.

Importance Of Away Goal
We require a good European performance which we didn't get in Portugal. Our performance over there was nothing like the Manchester United we know. You can't eliminate any part of your team as not having a part to play and obviously defending is a major part. You have to be prepared for anything that can happen in a European game and the most important thing is we impose ourselves. By scoring the away goal in Porto we've given ourselves a certain type of advantage and I think we'll have a really good chance because of it.

Keane Absence
It seems we've been missing top players all season. You're always going to miss a player of Roy's standard and infleunce. But we've had to deal with it in the past and we'll have to deal with it again on Tuesday.

Strong Referee
I read that Porto want a good referee; they always seem to want referees to help them! But in my opinion the referee on Tuesday night (Valentin Ivanov from Russia) is experienced enough to let everyone get on with their job.

Big Test
I said last week that the next two games were the most important of the season. We coped against Fulham and did well and I think we all know that if we don't give a goal away against Porto, we'll go through.

Silvestre Fitness
We're hopeful Mikael will be okay. He trained on Monday and we'll just have to see how he is on Tuesday.

hope fergie will start ronaldo, because basicly, without him, we're just sitting back defending....with him, there'll be more chances for us to attack attack attack, which is so important for us rather than sitting back waiting porto to score.....
giggs, well, he's great in counter attacking, but we need to pressure porto all the time....so, i think, ronaldo must start in this match....

hope we'll keep the clean sheet record at home....
i'm predicting a tight 1-0 win for us.....

That is because I have one, unlike you pu*sy!!! Dont bash my f@cking team and dont expect not to get a reply. I had enough with some idiots here, to start they know almost absolute sh;t about football, all they know is how to type RVN RULES or Man U is the most famous club, they are the richest, well guess what come today that means f@ck all there will be 11 against 11 and one winner, witch I always said it will I beleive be FC Porto, so for thinking FCP will win, I get bashed for it, since there is a bunch of ****s here that cant take that a PORTO fan beleives in his team, well that is what we real fans do beleive in our squad till the end.

I always said win or lose you can expect me here, I dont back down to nobody, just worry about the game. The ref's usually favour sides like ManU as they want them trough, so I expect some RVN offsides to be allowed, he is indeed the offside king in europe, or is it diving king, Neville got that title against your rivals man City, pathetic. I also expect offsides against us called, when they dont exist, well it's FCP against 11 manU and a ref and 2 linesman basically in UK, what are our chances? Not bad considering we have talent, hunger and pride. :mrpimp:

Enough with the trash talk, let's chit chat after the game....

You all need to improve on the insults, try harder it still has not affected me. :mrpimp: is that the best you can do? for a team schooled and taught a football lesson in Porto I expected better.

that says it all, scared of what?LOL

Fulham, but then you got Neville speaking about diving to The Sun while he pulled such a disgracefull dive against ManCity. Alex Ferg needs a reality check. Oh best game see ManU v's Arsenal, great diving by RVN and Ronaldo, a world class diving team full of cheats that FCP has to face today, maybe your coach before speaking on Baia should look to his own side, also Uefa now are apealing their own decision on Keane one match ban looks to be 3 now. (H) Baia is a cheat because he is on teh ground and holding a ball on a play that is almost dead, but a dirty Keano studs him in the back? oh ic...

UEFA appeal Keane ban verdict
