Well we played a good match didn't we?
I reckon we should of got into the QFs. We had as usual all the chances, the defence was a lot better than in recent games, and for once Brown didn't make a single mishap.
And as for the offside decision, it was disgracful and cost us the GFs but we can't blame the match for it, I'm dissappointed we are out but our boys played a great game.

i didn't bother reading all the posts on this thread. quite frankly, that's a lot of pages to follow up on. all i have to say that is i'm very disappointed today. i'm not going to accuse porto players of diving, or blame the referees, or make any excuses. quite frankly, we shouldn't have been put in that kind of situation. we know we're a better team than what we've shown in the last few weeks. but over those two matches, maybe porto just was the better team. ferguson made some questionable calls, but who am i to criticize alex ferguson? it just baffles me that our two largest signings in the past year barely played in our biggest games yet. but like i said, who am i to criticize ferguson...and i won't do that. because when it came down to it, we were that close to advancing. but united fans should know that the match is never over until that final whistle blows. so close and so disappointing.

Congratulation to Porto for a well deserved win. Tough Scholes second goal was clearly on-side and the officials made a mistake about it, we can`t use it as a reason. We were screwed. I`m not gonna blame Brown for this defeat, he played well, but there`s one player that dissapoints me a lot last night. I always tought he could be our Messiah, but last night he was way out of form. Rvn played one of his worst performance last night, poor touches, and he kept on fallin` on the ground. I even tought that he was Emile Heskey in disguise.
Fergie gambled with the starting line-up, and he srewed it up. We should`ve started with a much more aggresive team, we should`ve been able to score two goals in the first half if only he played Saha and Ronaldo from the first minute. We screwed and Porto made a magnificent performance, I have no doubt in my mind that anyone who will meet them in the later stages will have a hard match against them.
I really, really wanna get over this season and forget all about this . . .

I have to admit, the free kick was brilliant 
a bit higher and Howard wouldn't even be able to touch it at all. And he should have whacked it to the side, but I have a feeling he didn't want to give up a corner...
Most experienced keepers like Kahn or Dida would have probably deflected it out of play.

Damm, The shot was probably too hot for Howard to handle, but he could have just pumped the ball out rather then into play.

benni is becoming very good at taking those thankful especial since deco decided to take this year off. we want out of porto as bad as saha wanted out of fulham. he thinks he to good or big for us now
