acc to rumors yest we are close to signing Kagawa, 23.
Would be a good addition . Surely having played in the Bundesliga would be technically sound but not sure how he can cope with the likes of Stoke, West Brom and co.

If Silva can do it (coming from a physical weaker Primera Division), then Kagawa can surely do it. There are a lot of physical strong teams playing in the Bundesliga...... Lets wait and see if the rumours are true, I won't believe it until I see pictures of him and SAF together.

Yeah, I don't really understand the fascination with Stoke, West Brom anymore. United can cope with them and we got owned by Benfica and Atheltic Bilbao.

Yeah actually it seems we can only "cope" with typical british sides. Give us any euro-esque EPL teams like City or any mid-table side from Italy, Spain etc, and we're ****ed...

Yeah, exactly. I know that these rumors are 95% bull**** (some sites are better than others, goal.com seems to be the WORST), but usually don't know where they come from. Seeing that it came from a twitter account set up literally the same day is sad.

I agree, small part of me is even somewhat glad we lost the title, because our players have been getting complacent and not hungry enough. Maybe this will push Ferguson into finally buying a central midfielder. He has been delaying it in hopes that someone from the youth system comes up and maybe Pogba/Cleverly will, but clearly not right now.

Perhaps because you're relying on the same players you relied on 15 years ago, spent a huge amount on a young unproved goal keeper and cant seem to string a proper defence together?

I did see that. And as he only unretired half way though the season, I guess the third best player for the first half of the season was "nobody".

I agree with that. We've been heavily relying on Giggs and Scholes this season. Thats unacceptable. These guys should retire now and we need replacements. Young came in to replace Giggs. Fair enough. But we NEED to replace Scholes. Keane has still never been replaced. Well, Hargreaves did the holding midfield role for half a season only.

Defense was not a big problem this season TBH. We have the 2nd best defense in terms of goals conceded I think. De Gea ****ed up in a few games but he played very well and made up for it. Great buy. I can't think of anyone else we could've bought.
