Not watching the game, found out about Chicharito's injury through twitter. Lee's twitter. Senor Flukey-Goal-arito won't be able to decide this one.

EDIT: Ah ****, Lee's gonna be annoying in this one.

Lee Stewart?!

I watched the 2nd half and I haven't seen anything different from our performances in the past 2 months. We did the essential as usual, i.e. win. But that was no joy to watch. What pisses me off is that Rooney has to continually drop in midfield to distribute the ball. Our midfield should be doing that and he should be at the end of these passes. We really need some quality in midfield.

Yea, we are definitely not enjoying it out there like we should. Something needs to change. At the start of the season everything was like one-touch short passing, now the players are so far spread out from each other during attacks that we end up taking ****ty long balls or cross from far wide.

Seriously? (H) That's a name I haven't heard for a while. How the hell did you discover his Twitter name?

Yes that was incredible fast paced collective football which was a joy to watch... Anderson and Cleverley are perfect for this. If you bring on someone like Carrick, your game will be obviously slowed down.

I thought we played some decent football in de first half, Nani and Rooney upfront was a good move by SAF......our lack of goals is weird though...at the start of the season we were banging them in for fun and now we are lucky to get one goal each game.....

The injuries aren't helping our cause.... Anderson and Cleverley shaped our new style of play, but with them both out for some time we have switched back to the slow paced football..... What is it with us and injuries every season? Are the boys training too hard or what?

Don't think its Carrick to blame, his passing has been very fast paced this season. One or two touches at most, just gets the ball and moves it out of trouble. Not much doing on starting the actual attack unfortunately.

Just calculated that we would have just under 90 points at the end of the season if we keep on collecting points the way we have. Unbelievable that we're 5 points behind.

Considering what we have gone through, we have done well result wise, that's still a minor gap between us and City

If we continue underestimating opponents in the UCL we might as well be competing with our noisy neighbours for the Europa League this season.

**** off ****-o-bot.

Anyway, rumours are that it's not still 100% sure that Rooney will get a call for the EURO's, here's hoping that he won't, lol.

UEFA*

But yeah, it obviously is that and I hope they fail at it. The ammount of national pride that our english players have is amazing, I wouldn't bother playing for the NT if I'd get so much **** from the fans and the media after every tournement, plus the dissapointment after crashing out in awkward style, like England usually does.

I have the feeling that if we do go through, we will face Barca in the last 16 and crash and burn early. In a way it would be a good thing. It would make Fergie realize our weaknesses.

I actually think that the only way anyone can beat Barca is in the two-leg ties before the final. Not that I'd think we'd stand a chance playing like we have been.

Because having two matches, is having two chances - unless you **** up in the first leg and lose 0-3 :D I don't think you'll have too much problems with getting mentally and tactically ready for the one, most important match of the year, CL final

So tonight is the night :D This is what we'll take to Switzerland: Amos, De Gea, Lindegaard; Evans, Evra, Ferdinand, Fryers, Jones, Smalling, Vidic; Cole, Fletcher, Gibson, Giggs, Nani, Park, Valencia, Young; Diouf, Macheda, Rooney, Welbeck
