He's shown glimpses of what he can do, i don't think we'll see the best of him at all this season. He suits how we play, and can be deadly with his crosses. Whether he's got age on his side to improve enough to United level, i'm not convinced just yet.

Lets hope Nani gets some form back, he was sloppy against Ajax.

I thought he was going to do slightly better, considering the way he ended last season- By no means a flop, but I would say a bit of a downgrade for United. Still, could have been worse, you could have opted instead for his teammate Stewart Downing.

Yeah, he was immense in the Community Shield and the mauling of Arsenal. The injury hasn't helped. At times he's looked very indecisive, which is unusual for him - and why Valencia is so good - because he's so direct and decisive.

I think a lot of that may come from adjusting to a team that's almost constantly in control of games. Compared to Villa who wouldn't be expected to control games so much.

He is really annoying on ESPN. Mentions Arsenal more times during match analysis than the actual two teams he is supposed to be analyzing.

Yeah he is one of the worst people in the world. The newspaper he edited was a disgrace, the talent shows he was on were a vile pollutant of decency in media, his CNN show is a sycophantic car crash not worthy to be on the same channel as Larry King used to be, let alone the same time slot.

Anyway, here is good old Gary scoring one for all of us:

Yeah entertaining game but disappointing overall performance and result.

Anyway 6 reds have been included in England's next game: Jones, Smalling, Young, Cleverley, Welbeck and Rooney. They all deserve it. Carrick deserves to be in as well but no space left I guess. He deserves it more than Cleverley though who has been out for months and has not even yet started to play regularly.
