even though i think the fulham game is a sure one, theve just been really bad this season. i remember going to the game last year...first time watcing united live and i was on the fulham side :D

With the strength of the squad, and the "fringe players" recent performances - that doesn't bother me too much. As long as the United players' attitudes are correct and they apply themselves 100%.

Giggs' role in the team has changed over the past couple of seasons has changed. Anyone expecting him to make the amazing dribbling runs and creative play he used to a few years back is a fool. I think he's actually playing pretty well - against Lyon he was far better than Ronaldo.

I'm not expecting him to run in the wings dribbling past those defenders. But he could do with better ball retention and desire to go for the ball. He tries those fancy flicks and nicks but they never come off. He should do the basics first to keep the ball. And when he gives away the ball, always hands on hips and not chasing back for the ball. And I'm not basing against Lyon, but over the recent weeks.

I have to agree with Fernandez with Giggsy.He is a legend no doubt and I for instance,expect more from him.We know he has lost a couple of yards with his speed but that is pretty much it.I feel he does not influence the team enough when we needed him the most.I wished he was more like Dennis Bergkamp,gets better with age,every move is calculated,every pass is precision,do more with the ball etc.He isnt using his experience to the max yet and may we see that coming from him soon.He still takes crappy corners for instance.

As if the opposition's players - say Fabregas- doesn't do crappy corners :D i felt laughing to the ground of Cesc's inability to deliver good corners during the Milan tie.. :D

But Giggsy does good free kicks from time to time.. (not pretty often this season sadly...)

Really great win today! Nani seems to have found his feet. He is getting better and better. Hargreaves had a very good game together with Scholes and Park.

I liked the second goal too.Who knew little Park could jump that high and head the ball like that? Thats a striker's headed goal! I was like..what the park??!!! PARK!!!! Marvellous!
