Final insult from Sky, talking over Sir Alex's address to Old Trafford and showing a split screen with Chelsea celebrating - talk about rubbing it in, it's disgusting.

Like SAF said a few days ago, that one week against Bayern and Chelsea turned the title race in Chelsea's favour.....eventhough it hurts we need to man up and congratulate them, next season we will be back with a bang I am sure of that....

Well, I think we need to ask some questions and get some additions - but we should be. Forgive me because right now optimism isn't something I have a lot of at the moment. Mentally I'm destroyed right now.

Now watching the post mortem on MUTV. I find it therapeutic.

It was sweet to see Rooney and his child at the end.

OMG I've just realised that this time next season, I'll have my own child that age!! Kinda puts things in perspective.

Let Sky have it, they must have been miserable down there for 3 years, so everybody deserves their day. Chelsea scoring 8 is truly amazing, 103 goals in 38 games has to be applauded even if Wigan rolled over with a red card after 25 minutes.

Yeah, but they're supposed to be impartial. And people wonder why United fans feel the world is against us?

Anyway as I said above, I can't let this get to me too much - I've got really good things to look forward to.

Maybe Glazers will realize that United can't win the EPL and make the CL final every season and will get scared at the prospect of not being able to generate enough revenue and will finally **** off? Just maybe?

Whatever reason, I hope they f*ck off and take their f*cking debt with them.

1 trophyless season won't make them go. We've been trophyless in 2005 and 2006 and they stayed. Even without trophies they're still making profit. My guess is that they're staying 99% for sure.

I'm just hoping the Red Knights or the Middle East consortium wave enough money in front of them. As owners the Glazers haven't been that bad - Fergie's had money to spend, and the club hasn't imploded .. yet. But the issue is as long as they are here- so will the huge debt. That's why I want them gone.

That same owner gave your manager enough resources to improve his squad to the point that you won 3 out of the last 4......but you're still unhappy with him. 2 thumbs down. Sorry, you lose.

Typical, uninformed fan response

Those 3 out of the last 4 trophies came at the expense of:
1. Becoming the most leveraged team in the world
2. Having the debt increase over time only adds insult to injury
3. Puts a big dent into the future prospects because of revenue uncertainties
4. Paying Glazers over 60 million pounds/annually just for the **** of it
5. Limiting the clubs future abilities in buying good players

I would take 4 trophyless seasons over ALL that any day. Short-term success is marginal compared to Long-term success and with Glazers we got short-term success at the expense of long-term one. Besides, who says that we wouldn't have been able to buy all the players we got without Glazers? As far as I can remember, United were the most sound sporting franchise in the world, valued higher than the Yankees and generating revenues that would allow the club to spend at least 50 million pounds on players every year just from operational income. Without them, chances are that we would have been 2-3 notches above Chelsea, not below them.

So don't bring the last 4 seasons into the discussion again please.

Cheers guys on making this season interesting. You pushed us and we knew from the start you were the ones to beat and that's what we did.

Chin up, next season's a different chapter.
