The closest player to that list is Mata but he has been disappointingly inconsistent (but when he performs, he is top class). I think Mata's peak was the 2 seasons at Chelsea. He was making like 17 assists a season. Now he makes 5 assists a season and doesn't defend.

Mata and Blind are set for exit. Mata (I love him but incompatible with Mourinho and plays same position as Rooney) is understandable but Blind? He is an extremely useful utility player. I am shocked these players are the first to be shown the door rather than Fellaini.

I was never a big fan of him mainly because he has proven himself in the Serie A and France only which are inferior to EPL or Liga but I would like if this signing happened. 38 goals in 31 games in Ligue 1 is incredible even if its Ligue 1. He will also be free and for 1 year therefore he is worth the gamble. If he flops (My main worry is his age) we can release him after 1 year. It is like signing someone on loan.
