Double pivot, "interior", AMF and can start on the wing but he will move inside. His style is between Deco and Arturo Vidal.

Ok. By the sounds of it, he is more of an offensive midfielder. Can he work just behind an AMF or SS? i.e. behind Rooney, partnering Fellaini or Carrick or Cleverley? How is he defensively?

Looks good. It will be hard to convince him to transfer to a team that is falling apart though. Athletico are doing very well in the league and he just signed a new contract. I don't think it will happen unless Moyes decides to offer him a big salary. Not a good time to transfer also, with the WC coming up. He'd want to play consistently well in order to be selected.

Lol at bringing in Koke. He'll find himself in the exact same situation Kagawa faces.

The same would be true with any new addition in that midfield though. To be honest, getting the maximum out of the existing squad may require that this season be written off.

Without the risk, you'll never know what you have.

Koke would be a good addition BUT he is not really the player United need. The player United need is Pogba. They should be chasing equivalents, such as Vidal.

It's impossible to get him in the January transfer window IMO.
Ferguson would never have signed him in January, Moyes may panic and offer 30m.

Wanyama would be perfect for United but Southampton would make them pay out the ass given that they don't need the money and probably think they can finish ahead of them.

Wanyama was supposedly on Ferguson's radar, why they didnt snap him up I dont know. Actually a whole host of Southamption players would fit great into United - Wanyama, Lallana, Schneiderlin etc.

We won't be getting anyone in the winter transfer window, harsh reality, but that's the way it is. Koke rumours? What? There's a better possibility of me getting coke right now (which is is impossible) than us getting Koke in January. He's integral to Atletico, they are doing so well in La Liga, even better than Real and also in CL, so why on earth would they sell their important player like that? Someone mentioned in this thread earlier on that clubs will be asking more money for their players if we bid for them, because they know we're in need of quality midfielders. Which is so true. Spanish clubs have those buyout clauses, but that doesn't mean a thing, since they're so high + taxes etc...

Great cross from Rafael and what a header by Januzaj. That would count as an assist for him.

Kagawa was rightly so dropped from the starting lineup IMO. He did little to impress in the last 4-5 games. I think his style of play is not suited for the EPL. He does seem to play well in the UCL.

2-0 now.

Cleverley playing very well today. Having a midfielder playing like a true midfielder can mak a huge difference. He should consistently play like that.

Hmmm i'm not watching the match, but just checked the scoreline. I have to admit that i'm quite impressed, nice to see Welbeck getting a brace and Cleverley scoring. This is only good for the team. And it's not even over yet.

To be honest looking on paper Cleverley & Giggs midfield doesn't look so convincing, but if they are getting the job done then that's good. And how is Evans and Jones partnership at the back doing? Oh and just as i'm typing this i see that Fletcher is getting some playing time as well, good for him.

For many reasons. I usually watch them if they are showing the games on TV like they did today, but since i had a rough weekend and haven't slept for god knows how many hours i just didn't bother to watch it today. And i generally hate watching streams unless it's a must see match, because of the low quality of the streams (yeah i know it's always possible to find a HD one, but read the last point).
I don't have a laptop and i don't like sitting behind my desk and watching them like that.
And i prefer to watch matches that take place during the evening in the weekends.
I hope this clears this up. Might sound a bit silly i know.
