Making playoffs and editing schedule file HELP!!!

I'm creating a mod of the Polish "1 Liga", but I have some problems. Firstly, I'm replaceing the Chinese Super League, whose season starts in January, for the Polish league's season starts in June. How can I change this? Secondly, I have a problem in creating the playoffs, how can I make them? Please help.
