Madden Stadiums in FIFA? Possible?

If anybody's good at, or has experience with pulling 3D model data out of hex files, that would be a big help at this point. That's the main challenge with NCAA stadiums right now.

Making good progress on figuring out the NCAA stadiums. Got the models and faces extracted correctly. Next step is the textures.

I've made some progress on textures this week. The conversion is a messy, though. Definitely not a straight copy/paste. Most parts convert cleanly, but not all of them, and there's a lot of guesswork involved in matching the textures.

A lot of work still to be done - several remaining stadium objects, ambient textures, crowd placement, lighting, etc. It's going to get there. Not an easy process, but it's come a long way since just 10 days ago.

Great work mate. Did you made the crowds? Or you are able to convert it?

If you find the crowd files and use the 3D hex its possible to transform in crowds, even If the format is not the same. I ve been doing this for Football Simulator stadium.

With NCAA it doesn't look like the game has individual meshes for every seat like FIFA does. I haven't spent a lot of time looking at it yet, but from what I've seen I'll have to create the seat meshes myself.

That and lights will probably be the last thing I do, though.

I'm ready to start testing it in the game, however...

I've hit a snag. I can't get the textures to export. I'm getting the error below. Usually, I can figure out what's wrong pretty quickly, but this one has me stumped so far. Any ideas?

Hey guys, new person here. I have a question that hopefully you guys can help out with. So I have no experience at all in pulling these stadium models from Madden. I'd love to know more about this process and where to start especially since I'm trying to get a good model of Sofi Stadium and Lincoln Financial Field to work on for 3D projects. I don't mind retexturing it either but the scale surely helps. I guess the main question would be if these Madden models can be used in Sketchup or do they have to be used in Blender? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

We need some special scripts and plugins to get FIFA models into blender, so I'd assume you'd need to develop something similar to get them into Sketchup. There are some really skilled people in the modding community that have developed those tools. Not very many of them are active with FIFA 16 stuff anymore.
