I've started a game as Barnet, English League 2 club. Expectations- Battle bravely against relegation (I chose them cos they were my favourite conference side as they're local).

Now as you can see, I've got a 100% away record, but 1 win out of 4 home games. I really want to improve this, I've tried going 4-4-2, admittidly halfway through matches, with a little effect.

Anyway, I'm 2nd in the league 8 games in :D, and will be happy with midtable, but promotion would be great. Any tips or good little players would be helpful, i've got 70k to spend due to my sale, but my wage budget is 3k in the red.

Well... what a season that was!

Relegation candidates? F*ck off.. CHAMPIONS! Carlisle style! And I got the final of the LDV Vans Trophy! Grazioli got 39 goals in all comps in 41 games, what a player. Magne Simonsen turned out to be a wonder kid, 17 years old, left and right winger. Guemari, my leftback/DMC was brill and my defense held strong. Great stuff.

On to League 1, I'm hoping for a decent budget, I'm confident I can stay up, maybe even nick a play off spot. I need some more wingers, especially right wingers, a few good backup strikers would be good, luckily the leagues joint top scorer Kirk's contract is out soon and I've secured his services! Roll on next season.
