Hi,
I am looking for the kind advice of someone who is really good at using UniDB and MS Access to edit the fifa.db and who could tell me what I did wrong (see below).
I have created and imported both Serie C1/A and Serie C1/B Italian leagues in Fifa 2005 and they appear ingame. I can play friendly matches but I haven't found out yet how I could play them in Tournament mode, or even better, link them to the Serie B so I can play those teams in career mode with relegation/promotion! I wouldn't go as far as to try simulate the playoffs, two of the four last in serie B would go to C1/A, the other two to C1/B, that would already be perfect for me.
But nothing I altered in the database tables made it work :/ And God knows I tried for days now.
It would just simply crash to desktop as soon as I enter either tournament or career menu. So I restored my previous copy of fifa.db and am looking for advice from a guru of the fifa.db editing.
I know Donovan who made the international patch posts here and he's imo the absolute specialist of the fifa.db but I think he's real busy atm finishing his american continents league patch anyway Donovan if you read this and have time/want to give some advice to a newbie editor pls don't refrain be my guest!
<!--emo&-->The data I entered in table_leagueteamlinks and table_region_country_league is imho correct but I fail to understand the logic in the rtsg fields inside the table_rtsg and table_team_lookup tables
<!--endemo--> And I am sure that's where I need to link the new leagues to the existing ones.
<!--emo&:angry:-->By logic, I found out that each league's starting rtsg field is incremented by exactly 1048576 each time when another league starts in the table, but by creating new rtsg's following that logic, for my Serie C leagues and adding them into the table, didn't do the trick
<!--endemo-->
What am I doing wrong here?
Pls post here, mail me or PM me if you have an answer or would like to help me figure it out! many thanks already!
