Loading Problems

I've recently added several .cmp patches to my game in order to add the South American and Eastern European leagues and clubs. After ironing out several bugs in the system, I tried to make a custom tournament. Though I am able to make the tournament with all the teams and play normally, when I close the game and come back later, when I try to load the saved tournament, the system crashes. Has anyone had this problem before? How can I fix it?
