Make America Great Again
You already have one too many strikers in Carroll. No sense in bringing in another one. And don't get me started on the midfield.

But I like Liverpool. Enrique and of course Suarez are great. And I've been a big Gerrard fan for over a decade now.

Yeah, but Pool just bought Downing and Henderson this summer.

Henderson's much better through the middle, he's capable of playing on the wing, but he's not much good there.

And ****, shut up already Nady. We get it, you dislike Pool.

Starting XI
IN: Henderson, Adam, Doni, Downing, Enrique, Coates, Bellamy.

Out: Konchesky, Jovanovic, El Zhar, Kyrgiakos, Insúa, Mavinga, Ayala, Bruna, Ince, Poulsen, N'gog, Degen, Meireles, Aquilani (loan), Pacheco (loan), Cole (loan), Gulacsi (loan).

NET spend: 32.7M pounds

our transfer activity in total. All in all a good round I would say. We shaved a lot of dead weights off the salary list, brought in some really exciting players, most notable exit though of course Meireles to Chelsea, kinda disappointed about that but if a player doesn't want to play for the club then I don't really want him around.

How do people rate our transfer activity this summer?

That's not a factor at all. National managers aren't the be-all and end-all. That said, most of them play with their national teams: Bellamy, Coates, Enrique, Adam, Downing and Henderson's with the U-21.

Starting 11 was my mean but your point is valid as well.

None of them are top 5 (in their post) in EPL, maybe Enrique.

well, they don't have to be. there are a few of man utd's squad that aren't top 5 in their post in the epl, but they play well and they all work well together, thanks to team harmony, and of course a magnificent manager.

Man Utd and Man City are going to be super strong this year, Man Utd has the squad and experience and City have the squad. I don't think many Liverpool fans are asking for the title this year. I do think that we have enough quality though with our new signings and the new manager to at least get a top 4 spot.

the players don't have to be starting every game for their National Teams, or be in the top 5 of their positions, as long as they work well together, which is what is looking promising at Liverpool in the first matches.

Speaking of national teams, we escaped pretty much injury free from them, only question mark might be Charlie Adam, but Kenny has said that he expects him to be fit for Stoke this Saturday. It feels good to be excited for a Liverpool match, there's been far too many games that you didn't even want to watch. I'm watching this Saturday though, might even wear my Fowler Liverpool shirt for good luck...

so, 1-1 against Man Utd. A great goal by Gerrard. We've found ourselves on a decent run now, wins and a draw where i feared for a horrible rape from united. What are people's thoughts on the game?

Huh? Feared a rape? Thought we should have won that by a huge margin. We were literally all over them post the hour mark.

lol at that video, epic stuff! "After all, there was no miracle in Istanbul!" :D

I was talking about my thoughts on the game at the start of the campaign, and leading up to the match, where the manchester teams seemed unstoppable.

Important win at WBA last weekend. Good to get one over Roy's men after last season's defeat. We will be without our skipper once again next weekend against Swansea, but I have faith in our midfield. Lucas has proved himself worthy of the shirt, Henderson is getting better and I believe in Adam. There are no guarantees in football so I hope we get a good win next weekend
