According to reports in Correio da Manha, Liverpool have agreed a fee of £25m for Benfica left back Fabio Coentrao. <---Would be a great signing if everything goes accordingly. He's young and pretty good. Probably could've talked the fee down to £20m though.

Reserve Team
Not really expecting anything but

1. Liverpool won the league both times Swansea were in the top flight .
2. Liverpool last won the league when King Kenny was incharge for a full season.

I can but dream... :D:D

Actually no they couldn't. Benfica have been straight up ****s for a year about this kid's price. Should have been at Bayern this year.

Well Real Madrid is getting him for €22m which means either Arbeloa, Albiol or even Marcelo are out at the Bernabeu.

He costs 30m. No negotiation. I'm not kidding, Bayern have been barking up that tree for a year.

Notable incidents in history
Hillsborough
Heysel

When you walk through the storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

Walk on, through the wind
Walk on, through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

O-car

Starting XI
Suarez is proving himself to be ready for the new season. 3 goals in 3 matches so far this season, plus he got 2 assists last night. Comfy win at Exeter, shame about losing Meireles to injury though, we should have adequate cover for him until he returns though

O-car

Starting XI
Aquilani gone to AC for a season long, feel like we should just go ahead and sell him asap since they don't seem intent on using him, feel like he's just decreasing in value if we let his contract run out whilst playing somewhere else.

Red Card - Life
Life Ban
Was a brilliant player under Hughes but high wages, attitude problems and he played the last season in the Championship. Would come for free, though.
