Anyways a 3-0 win over Newcastle. Allow to quote myself: "a big win like this would have helped earlier in the season." Massive game bu Luis Suarez....what a buy this guy has been. Very similar to Dirk Kuyt and Maxi Rodriguez in the sense that they are tireless workers. The difference is that Suarez is slightly better and his combination with Raul Meireles will be vital as long as they are with us. Speaking of Maxi....he scored again, following his hat-trick from last week. Carroll came on as a substitute, played around 20-odd minutes and proceeded to do sh*t-all.....AGAIN!

Apparently from what I've been reading on some of the football sites and forums, no one is interested in going to Liverpool during the summer transfer window and instead trying to go to Barcelona, Real Madrid, or any team that is playing in Europe. I don't see why any player wouldn't want to join Liverpool considering the results they have been producing.

I'm just echoing what Luis Suarez and Jamie Carragher were quoted in saying on goal.com. The players want to play in Europe next season because they feel that they can get to the final and win. If they can get another midfielder (Ever Banega) to go with the winger they just signed from France then they would have a great chance of success in the Premier League next season.
