Yellow Card
Liverpool 3-3 Crystal Palace.

I could see this late season collapse coming from a mile away. We are simply not good enough.

Better than Arsenal at least (no offense to any Arsenal fans around here). They have mastered the art of collapsing in the second half of the season. You guys have exceeded all expectations. Too bad it went the way it did, i was actually cheering for you guys to win it. Now it's City's.

By the way, I share your pain Newbie. Real Madrid went thru the same thing a few weeks ago, losing back to back when we were still in the race :(

Your defense is not good enough. It's all attack and then get destroyed on the counter attack. Rodgers needs defensive reinforcements this summer especially if they are to be a serious contender in the Champions League.

It's not completely the defence in my opinion, Crystal Palace aren't exactly deadly attackers - it's a bit of a mental fragility like Arsenal

It's time for a new thread. We had a great last season, only inches away from winning the league. Although it was disappointing to miss out on the title in the last few games, one can't help but be proud of how far the lads got. We were tipped to struggle towards the goal set before the season, which was a top 4 finish, but ended up doing a lot more.

The big question now, can we carry on on this note and challenge again next season?

The biggest part of our success last season was undoubtedly the rise of Luis Suarez. Yes he was banned for the first few games, and yes he did cause quite a stir last summer about wanting to leave, which makes it so much more remarkable how he won everyone back, and played his heart out on the pitch.

The defense was a big problem. We conceded 50 goals... that's not something you want to see... Thankfully our offense was pure gold, but the title was likely lost due to failure in defense. This is what we need to focus on fixing before the new season starts I feel Liverpool should work on getting Sami Hyypia back to the club to train the defense.

When you walk through the storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

Walk on, through the wind
Walk on, through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

So, we've got our first new player it seems. Rickie Lambert had a medical today and will most likely be introduced on monday
we apparently also have a 25m take it or leave it offer for Lallana

I'm excited for both, and hope this is just a start. We need more players to be able to challenge for the EPL and CL
