Hey, a little offtopic but I'd like to know how one can find out player's id's, which aren't playable in the game but actually are in the game files? For example that list below, or some classic players id's... or what is Hidetoshi Nakata's id for example?

How can they be found out?

PS: Great work with all this mrliioadin!! :)

I really have no idea... but from what I've read there isn't really a way to do much with the retired players.

On another note...........

ZAMBIA

so FIFAworldcup.com is now down until June. This means I have absolutely no access to the fifa game reports from previous qualifiers... Does anyone have any idea where else I might be able to find these game reports?

rsssf.com is great for big teams rosters and such.

Wikipedia will sometimes help out.

nationalfootballteams.com will give you everyone who matters on a national team

but none of them consistantly give information about who is actually playing. Thus making it very difficult to get a realistic starting 11 on the field for the tiny national teams.

Many of them are in another language or completely nonexistant. There is a recruitment message on the turks and caicos website. which is kinda funny cause I think they were caught using ineligible (foreign) players in the past.

however with babble fish and a little luck..... perhaps.

I got up with Pinty and got permission to use his kits. So one of his finest now released in cmp format:

Pinty's Romania kit pack

the concacaf page has no line-ups for their teams? that surprises me. i know cafonline shows you results if you're lucky, sometimes even group standings (last year's of course) but concacaf?

if you don't get further, i think it'd be best to use nationalfootballteams.com, though maybe out of date for the small. However, no one will ever know i guess...

CONCACAF's Website sux more than anything else.

Nationalfootballteams.com is really the only option. But I have to guess at who the starters.

Changing the starters/subs is quickly done as soon as fifaworldcup.com will be back.

I've checked the concacaf site... you get good informations about the gold cup... i'd love to go to those matches... especially group 1 is fantastic - with guadeloupe! but who will pay me the ticket to miami? hmm... if anyone reads this who's got more money than he needs... there must be, i know some people here have very expensive pc's! (Maybe i should post this in the "Ideas for 08 - Next Gen" thread)

Will you visit some matches? Or do you live a million miles from all that venues (like Denver, Seattle...)?

I live in North Carolina. I think Miami is the closest venue which would easily be a 10 or more hour drive. I used to live about 90 minutes from Washington D.C. and would pray that the gold cup or some qualifiers would come to RFK stadium. I finally caught a U.S. game (6-0 vs Panama EJ scores a hat trick as a sub). but after the Nationals (baseball) moved into RFK stadium, US soccer basically crossed it off the map.

It will only take me about 2 hours to get to Cary, North Carolina if they bring a camp or some friendlies back to Cary again. But it's unlikely a match of any consequence would find it's way here.

this country is just so big one state could host the gold cup. at the world cup i had 1 stadium 30 minutes from my home, 1 an hour and 3 venues about 2hours drive.

but hey, you've seen the 6-0 against panama - i don't remember the u.s. scoring more often in one match...
... and of course i have looked it up and seen that they played almost exactly one year ago against jamaica (1-1) in cary.

the only match of the german team i've ever seen was Germany - Australia in Frankfurt two years ago (4-3, great match).

Try www.digicelfootball.com for Concacaf :) There's starting line-up of each games. Merge this to some other sources and you might be able to do what you wish (that's how I do :))

Hong Kong people think it's a good job and hope Hong Kong can also did the same things....:$

That Jamaica match came in april I think as a warm up to the world cup... I was still living in maryland at the time so I of course missed the game.

The only problem with the caribbean cup rosters is that they do not include many many many of the european based players. However I think that's a great suggestion and merging caribbean cup rosters with the european based players listed on national football teams should yeild something close for the caribbean cup teams.

Also, Just curious... How much interest is there in youth teams? U23? U20? U17? A lot of new resources are becomming available... I thought about somewhere down the line adding some of these teams in.

Opinions?

You should search players one by one in CM07, they show IDs... well, that's the only idea I have about it.

It's a good idea. If you could do Mexico U20 it would be great, it is a great team right now with Giovanni Dos Santos (FC Barcelona), Carlos Vela (Salamanca on loan from Arsenal FC), and a lot of players which are playing in Mexican First Division (Villaluz, Araujo, Esparza, etc.)... They're the actual U17 World Champions, they won 3-0 to Brazil in 2004 Peru Championship.

Well, if you could do teams from U17 and U20 Championships would be great.

I think when it gets closer to the U20 world cup kicking off I'll take some time aside to make those teams. That's set to kickoff in July... If I start on em in late may and into June I should be able to get them released by the time they kick off. Then I'de be able to watch the games and make adjustments throughout the tourny.

In the meantime, I'm really excited about this team. Probably more so than any other team in this round of patches. Mali has only participated in two world cup qualifiers... They have almost exclusively finished in the top 4 of African Cup of Nations when they qualify (they either miss the tourny entirely or they make it to the semi's). I think they show a lot of promise and could easily find their way into the world cup with a little luck within the next few cups.

Africa has a lot of teams that could qualify for the world cup and never did, even after last world cup where 4 african teams qualified for the first time. there is mali, but also guinea, congo, zambia, burkina faso, zimbabwe, and also libya. egypt and d.r.congo have already qualified for the world cup (the latter one embarrassing african football 1974 with horrible results and even lacking knowledge of the rules), but that was a long time ago though they are good teams today.
It's good that in 2010 6 african teams will participate. Together with home advantage this should help them to get amazing results, maybe even an african finalist.

I've been working on this for a while. In previous releases of these teams many players have very unfairly low attribute levels. I tried to identify many of the stars from these teams and give them an 80+ overall rating. One concern is that some of the lesser teams would get considerably better. In test so far this hasn't been an issue. Teams that did get considerably better generally deserved it. For instance the Japanese and Australians were both unfairly low rated because I used previous FIFA rankings to assign their overall strength. By improving Viduka Schwarzer Kewell Santos Kawaguchi etc etc.

You must have all of the following teams or the patch will crash when you try to import the players for that team. You can download the patch and deselect any teams you don't want and it will import without issue.

Togo
South Africa
Senegal
Morocco
Ivory Coast
Guinea
Ghana
Egypt
Angola
Zambia
Mali
Congo DR

Slovakia
Bosnia-Herzegovina
Czech Republic
Netherlands

Uzbekistan
United Arab Emirates
Saudi Arabia
Qatar
Oman
Korea DPR
Japan
Iraq
Iran
Bahrain

Trinidad & Tobago
Saint Lucia
Panama
Jamaica
Honduras
Guatemala
Cuba
Costa Rica
Canada
Guyana
Haiti
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Saint Kitts and Nevis

Solomon Islands
New Zealand
Fiji

Colombia

Player Attribute Update

Hope this helps.
