lagging proplem :((

downloaded fifa 11 eu , after installation & runnig ,
i go to practise , the game is good & playable ,
but when i went to kick off practise , it was very slow ,
have may lags , first i tried to change graphic settings ingame m but i didn't find , then i saw fifa configure exe and set graphics to low , 800 x 600 , wait for vsync , aa off

any idea ??

I used to be able to run FIFA 10 at 1280x720 with high detail 3d grass, shadows, anti-aliasing etc...

FIFA 11 is a different story, we wanted NG and we need a computer capable of playing NG graphics.

I run FIFA 11:

1280x720
Low Detail
MSAA-OFF
Wait VSYNC

My Specs:
Inte Core 2 Duo @ 2.1GHz
Nvidia G102m 512mb (Dedicated)
4GB RAM

i run fifa 10 on the same of your settings and iths good , i disable 3d grass and i get the best performance with fifa 10

i know that my computer is bad , but i wondered when i play in arena with out any lags for the first time then have a laggy game !!

also , many people have more than recommended specs have this proplem !!

i just have lag in arena mode santiago bernabeu and with cinematics. also when the camera goes near to player when taking a free kick or similar :/

Mate, you need a serious upgrade, the minimun is a Dual Core 1.8 GHz if I am not wrong, which together is 3.6 Ghz, and your is just 2.0

so regularcat, you stay with pc version or still going for console this year?

honestly fungus ill prolly go console this year, because the complexity of the file structure will take almost a whole year to decipher & then to make tools afterward will take some time also.

& since i have been playing 10 for xbox 360 lately, i dont see myself playing 11 for pc since its the exact same thing 10 is for xbox 360.

considering the big difference that pp & p+ will bring to the realism & individuality of the game, i have to go console this year.

im simply tired of getting the left overs from consoles (or lack there of), if i have to pay to play a game i want the most realest experience you can get for the money.

to me its the smartest decision i could make.

& if 12 for pc is 11 for console w/ some added features, plus the capability of modding the game, ill be back to pc for 12.

most people who played 10 for pc & not 10 for consoles, wouldnt understand what im saying, they are all gassed up over the updated graphics (cant say next gen, cause we were playing in the past) that anything to them is better than 10 pc.

sad part is they all cried about the getting the game close to consoles that 75% of the poor bastards cant even run 11 pc on a decent graphic setting.

since i can max it, which i will say looks slightly better on pc than console, 11 console faces isnt enough to keep me playing on the pc.

I don't want to spend $50 on PC to have some lag and use low level details and other features etc... Especially as you have already pointed out FIFA 11 editing will very limited

I am gonna go console for sure this year especially with all the added elements like pro passing and personality+ for the same price.

Gotta go with the 360 version this year, and hopefully next year I will get a new CPU and there will be new editing tools

although I think it won't be until FIFA13 that a tool like CM10 surfaces with all that functionality and editing ability...

i know guys that i have to upgrade , i ask only , why is the game very smooth in the arena , and it's very laggy in the match & arena before match !!

i run the game @ med - 1280 x 720 - aa of - no vsync

and it's very smooth as i said in arena ..!!

i'm sure that is a bug , not only my low laptop proplem ..

Windows Vista 64 Bits.
I have all the problems you have, lagging, freezeings, in intro, replays, and gameplay is not smooth as it should be.
And of course, THERE´S A BUG. And I can confirm this because when I run FRAPS the game shows a solid 60 fps but the game freezes and is not smoth.
The game is not smooth...... but fraps shows 60 fps...
Any idea how to explain this?
I´ll tell you, this is a buggy game, that´s all.

understood that , that's why i'm asking , i get between 29 ==> 35 fps with any other game , and they are playable , with fifa 11 i get 30 fps , it's good enough to play , the game will be not full smoth , but i can play if the game is not buggy

as we said it's abug , hope it will be fixed soon ..

- i run pes 2011 on med - 1280 x 768 get 35 fps , the game is full smooth , on high , i feel a little sharpness @ 25 fps , but it's good ..

when i score goal in arena before match ( already have lags & shuttering with ) , the replay is very very smooth !!

we are sure that we have lags and bugs , not from weak pc's
