He just lost his scoring touch after the 02-03 season with Barcelona. In his last season with them, he only played 20 or so times compared to the 50+ games he played in previous seasons. Injuries a bitch isn't it.

Still a legend. One of my favorite players back in the day.

Well, he stated several times that he actually wants to play professional football again after he got his training diploma. Which is understandable I think because he's still only 31 years old. Wheter he'll find another club is a diffrent thing though.

Barca departure really finished his carear, its interesting that He and Van Nistelrooy born on a same day. Kluivert started his career very well and Ruud finished it very well. Both are great players, I really hope patrick find a good club and return to his best.

Say I'm biased and all that but with his 40 goals in 79 international games he's still Holland's topscorer.
