Orite everybody,

Hope everyone is doing well here that and I know and those that I don't too, well it's been some time since I've properly been in this forum and have probably lost touch with peoples styles and stuff, so just as a bit of a refresher I was wondering would anyone be willing to tell me who their favourite kitmakers are and give me reasons why and examples of the great kits that they've made etc.

Please keep the arguing to a minimum, respect others opinions and don't challenge them head on it will make it nicer for us all...

Hope this makes sense to all and I'll get to see new kitmakers mentioned and some brilliant pieces of art. I won't be judging or anything and this isn't a popularity contest just simply to see what talent there is around these parts nowadays.

So please someone start us off.

P.S. I recently found a kit template stored in my emails, I thought I had absolutely nothing left of them anymore but their is one! So I thought I could share it with people who want it because I have absolutely no use for it anymore. It's a template which is just going out of the football fashion window, it's the Puma v1.06 that the likes of the Swiss national team use and numerous other teams but still it is a demonstration of a template that I used to use and make help people improve themselves by thinking new ideas for kitmaking.

Karmageddom is one of the best of the newer kitmakers... look at his Manchester City 07-08 kits for example, his kits don't go overboard with obvious effects, and I use them in 1gk to accomodate new stadiums and they still look miles better than EA's paltry efforts.

I think Logan,make a lot of perfect kits,in my oppinion he is one of the best kitmaker,and he adds a lot of details for the kits,and he make a lot,i think everyday we see new creation by him.

just kidding! all r good, each to his post. "A" makes "pieces of art", but about 5-10. "B" kitmaker stays awake making kits for minor teams and staying in anonymity. "C" kitmaker enjoys his hobby making kits he likes to. "D" is not talented, but watching the vast majority of "top kitmakers making 1546897 times Ajax, Real, Milan and others missing, spends his time in labour by trying making new ones. "E", "G", "H" are making kits for ages, but "J", "K", "L" are making kits for 2 weeks to 6 months. Me and others, as "M" I am very old, 40, I know very well who I am and what I do, but "N", "O", "P" are very young and need to be encouraged to be improved. well, I don't believe that discussions like this, although I admire Curswine in a catholic mode, can help the improvement of the kitmaking community. I personally love everybody in this thread, I feel them like a friend and of course I am happy if they improve.

The main reason I created this thread was for myself (selfish I know) I was too lazy to look and see what new talent there was making kits, but from the people I have seen mentioned are from a time when I was making kits too, Karmageddon and PKBomb.

I personally am more of a fan of PKBomb's kits due to the effects used on them, from meory I used to find all the effects he used to use really OTT but now it looks like it's mellowed down a lot and stuck to much more opaque lines and meshes which make his kits look fantastic. Karmageddon I like also but his style looks a little too EA for me to be a huge fan of his kits, what I mean by that comment is, his designs look quite authentic but hardly any effort is made in the effects department to make his kits stand out as being great and the texture cut out effect doesn't do it for me at all from an aesthetic point of view. They definately are good enough to be used in my games especially with the amount of effort gone in to making logos correct sizes and lines match too.

hi curs! i still have your adidas ezeiza front .PSD, if it's anything you want or share...im probably a bit more active on these forums than you are,but i dont have any idea of who is good or bad...PKBomb is great,even though i dont like that texture,but thats not a big deal..Americanizta/diego is probably my fav kitmaker, amazing kits and nice and smooth textures oh, you must check Crisronaldo's kits and minikits, those are the greatest!!!!

Nah, I want to know who I am sending the template to so it will be easier to track them down and kill them if they abuse it. (to lazy to find anywhere to do it actually)

Anyway, I am on my holidays now, so if you have requested it after this message you won't receive it for at least 2 weeks but everyone else who has sent an email with the subject as 'puma template' should have received everything

You can upload the Ezeiza template if you like mate I don't care anymore to be honest.

omg i'm glad that you guys apreaciate my job, i dont spend a lot of time to see al the kits that are made coz i dont have many time even to myself but i know diego and he's great there is so much talent here that is dificult to mention everybody

that karma guy really is a machine, he makes so many kits, there not amasing when it comes to effects but there good and look smart ingame.

well, thats what you think, and that's good, i dont think your kits are masterpieces and you still have alot to improve before i will say that you are a very good kitmaker, but it takes time....

its making me more determined when you say that

i set very high standards for myself, i expect myself to be the best

its my mentality in all my art
