@kingmuro , you are a F*** brilhant guy! Instead of getting the crowd file of PES6, I duplicated and splited the face of the tribune where the crowd should sited. Than I subdivided many times, rename it as crowd, removed the material and exported as crowd and it works!! We still need some tests because some chairs were facing other sides, but that means that PES6 stadiums can be converted in a couple of minutes now!

could you make a video about that?

Yeah.

And many of them are in fantastic quality, even better than we have now.

After research is done, maybe some tutorial would be great how to convert it (both model and crowd from pes 6).
Because noboody want to convert all stadiuns and also many requests, and i would like to do it at least for me and share with others.

I dont know what should we do with glares.

I viewed the tutorial jmzip shared. From what I realized; create Light objects, adjust their power if needed, move them and here you go, you have glares. Is it correct?

mmm, yes (? I received that tutorial many years ago, from a Brazilian colleague, unfortunately he lost his contact

The new way helps a lot. I just did this Maracana from old days. But you can see that we still have to improve, for example the crowd on last tier, we have space to put more crowd between the lines, but if I subdivide now the Blender will also split on vertical that will make the chairs too close to the ones in front. And the crowd file will be also bigger than 2k, which leads the game to crash.

So the speed to make the stadium will depend on how the stadium was made in PES6, it wont be easy for every stadium. However it helps a lot, to make this crowd of Maracana with 3 tiers, different inclinations, curve tribunes would take weeks.

If I was in your place I would do it like this; I first split faces to determine how many rows would be. Then I use Split Edges, so every face is unrelated to each other when you edit them.

Then I would arrange rows one by one to determine seat number (one by one maybe). For example on a curved stand, the lowest row would have much less seats than the highest row. This can take your time a bit, but in the end you have something accurate and you don't have to manually move seats anymore. That's how I did my all curved stadiums.

I use seat textures to do this correctly. Here is an example, the Bloomfield Stadium of Maccabi Tel-Aviv.

You see highest row has much more seats compared to the lowest row. Then you can split the faces according to seats.

Again this is manual work. However, I basically skipped trial and error stage here + this makes the job of converter's easier too.

In the end it's a tutorial - better than none. Maybe this summer, I can install FIFA14 again and try my hand at stadiums... but Blender 2.71 flickers so much :( any solution? does that plugin work with 2.79?

blender blinking? I think the script works, I never tried with that version.
Fifa14 is a good game, it hurts that it is so difficult to edit scoreboard, otherwise I would play it more.

Here is the Victoria Stadium of Gibraltar national team. Model done by SelvinGUA from World Stadiums PES6 and me. Conversion by the great Gonzaga. There are minor baking problems due to 2D mountain. This is a beta version maybe. But I have no time to fix the 2D mountain to be 3D.

great work!!

do you think you would have a few time to export the model to fifa 14 and the crowds converted please?

Thank you, if I had time, I would release these on my own for FIFA 14 :(
would be nice because all UEFA national teams stadiums have been made for fifa 14 or converted EXCEPT Gibraltar, Armenia and Luxembourg.... (even if they are made for fifa 16)..

I understand. If I knew how to make end output for FIFA14 I would give a try.

There is no polished or high quality Josy Barthel for any game I believe
