it comes out in may, so this is a little early, but i saw the preview and felt i had to show it

Looks like it might be kinda funny, I saw this trailer the other day. Don't know if I'd wanna spend $8 bucks to see it in the theatre, though.

Is it a kids film like Elf or a proper comedy like Anchorman? The name sounds kinda stupid.

Melinda and Melinda looks awful (ive understood the hype around Woody Allen), and this looks like a direct to video movie.

Ferrell better start doing some good movies again.

Hes making like 15 movies right now.

if someone doesnt like Woody Allen movies its better not to comment on them. he's very particular. you either love him or hate him.
he's a genius IMO

so I have hopes for M&M, but this K&S doesnt look great, and the Bewitched movie looks like its going to bomb like The Stepford Wives last year.

he'll also cameo in Luke Wilson's The Wendell Baker Story.

then the drama Winter Passing which Ive heard is good (with Zooey Deschannel).

another cameo/small part in Vince Vaughn's and Owen Wilson's The Wedding Crashers which souinds great.

he'll also be in Marc Forster's Stranger's than Fiction with a great cast with Maggie Gyllenhaal, Dustin Hoffman, Queen Latifah and Emma Thompson

and finally this year he'll have a small part in the Tenacious D movie which is sure to be great too

I'll admit, i havent seen his earlier (and probably better) work, but after seeing 'Curse of the Jade Scorpion' and 'Anything Else' i wasnt too impressed.


Wedding Crashers will be amazing, it has to be really. I think no movie with Ferrell AND Kidman can bomb, im not sure how good it will be though.

Im waiting for Talladega Nights, which will be written, directed and produced by people that made Anchorman (Ferrell, Mackay and Apatow)

just got back from Kicking and Screaming. it was cute and funny but for children, I found it lame and the worst Will Ferrell movie since he's a big star. and it's not his fault, he was ok, but the movie was the classic children in sports movie and this is in no way comparable to the much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, BETTER Mighty Ducks which first of all looked real (someone I know said they were kinda the same ).
The soccer scenes in this movie suck, though I guess that's another standard of soccer movies. nobody can make it believable with children (mostly cause children's football sucks in real life too). the only believable soccer movie EVER was Victory
Mike Ditka was funny though

The Italian kids were realistic. And the last scene with the 360 move was done well.

The first 60 seconds of the movie were definitely the funniest.

Saw it last night..

better than I thought itd be judging from the trailors, which isnt saying too much. If it wasnt for the terrible and predictable 'everyone learns a lesson/everyone wins' ending, it couldve been a lot more memorable. Its a kids movie with laughs here and there, but its still a kids a movie. Those Italian kids must be playing for some top youth academy, they were amazing. It reminded me of Elf, as it was a pretty decent until the final act.


However, if you dont go nuts laughing when Ferrell pushes that kid in the back of the head, you should stop and revaluate your life.




Im one of Will Ferrell's biggest fans, but hes gone too mainstream these days, and movies like this (and Be-Witched in the fall) are the the result. He dominated on Conan this week, so im not too worried.

I was actually dissapointed with him in Conan. it should've been so much funnier but they just kept making weird noises and stuff like that.
and though his opening for SNL was awesome (not remembering previous castmates, etc), the rest was just ok IMO (:/)

I didnt get to see him on SNL, but my brother said it was a kind of a letdown. I blame Tina Fey and the pro-women vibe of the show more than anything.

What was wrong with Ferrell on Conan?

Tina Fey is hot, but her writing and the other writers of SNL stink.

that part was hilarious, one of only a few which were funny. i was really disappointed, definately not worth the drive to Colossus.
