Keyboard Issue

My keyboard has just randomly changed in the US region for typing, i.e the @ is got by typing shift + 2. I want it back to the European way of it being shift + '. Any idea how to change it???

Control Panel > Regional and Language Settings > Languages>Details and then do your thing from there.

i bloody well do
this time it was automatic though. one second i was european system, next I was american without even pressing a button. keyboards dont like me, im an easy target

I get this all the time too. It's not automatic, it's achieved by pressing the left <ctrl> and <shift> at the same time. Very annoying if you consider how close those buttons are.

I just found out you can completely turn it off from the details > key settings > combinations menu though.
