KDB would wilt at Juve. Diego faled there and their profile is relatively similar although I think KDB has more to offer.

Diego's style was always to get the ball and dribble or play it out in transition. That is where he flourished. He was great at that, and good but not great at playing the possession, patient game. There is no room for that in Serie A. KDB is similar. He can play the ball around and he has more tools than Diego and is comfortable over more area of the pitch but where he excels is in playing mid-movement. He would languish at Serie A, especially Juve who would rarely match up against sides that will play in Juve's half. Bundesliga or Prem are the places for him. He would be pretty awesome for a Klopp Dortmund side if he was a more willing defender. Wolfsburg is pretty good for him, I'd say Leverkusen would be even better but their wide-man situation is great right now (Son, Bellarabi, Brandt off the bench) and they play a deeper 3 in midfield, and are set there too (Castro, Bender, Kramer).

I can't wait to see what Wolfsburg can do next year with Kruse, he is the perfect foil for KDB and Schurrle. Wouldn't be surprised if they become the 'it' triumverate of the early CL stages next year.

EDIT: And I just remembered Calhanoglou. KDB would definitely supplant him, but I think Kramer is going to take that midfield spot anyway.

De Bruyne is obviously a great player, but he is very very direct. Takes a ton of chances. Obviously they pay off, but I think he would have a lot to prove to play in a team like Bayern or Barca or Real where the defenses are so tight and compact.

Didn't know that, good transfer.

Shrewd business for Leverkusen too, as Castro is 28 and his value will never be higher. Makes more sense to put their eggs on the Kramer-Calha basket.

I'm not entirely sure how good Calhanoglu is. He's probably the best FK taker in the world, but I think that greatly overrates his skill in the open play. It's hard to separate him from the FKs though.

I think he's taken a step back at Leverkusen but not so much that I wonder if he was all hype. 2nd year will determine if he can really contribute at that level. Good enough of a project to bank on him though. I mean, that season with HSV was pretty fantastic.

Oh and tits.
I think he has this great way of moving off the ball when the game switches or had during his time at HSV which allowed him to score so much. He doesn't seem much special to be honest.

Can't believe we got rid of Ogbonna without taking a huge loss. He's not that bad honestly, just not Juve level. Still not keen on this mercato, Mandzukic and Khedira are good transfers but I'm curious to see what's in Allegri's mind.
