Free Khedira is no replacement for Pirlo, though. Neither he would be for Pogba. I think Juve should be going for Kondogbia should Pogba leave. Verratti would be perfect (as a replacement for Pirlo), but I have serious doubts that PSG would let the guy leave, unless there's some serious money involved.

The last time I watched a few khedira games, when he was making a big contribution to hos club and country winning the most important club and country tournaments in 2014, he was easily good enough to take over from anyone in the admittedly prestigious juve midfield. Juve's midfield is packed already. Pogba, Vidal, Marchisio, Pirlo (who'll be leaving next season I guess) plus their backups. The guy called Storari or whatever was exquisite against Real in the first leg, let me show you.

Khedira can't replace Pirlo, no one can I guess. but he doesn't have to because he won't be a starter anyway, he'd be an option when Vidal/Marchisio/Pogba need rested. and honestly I'd rather get Khedira for free than pay 25mil for Witsel.

Khedira is a box-to-box midfielder, but he's no replacement to Pogba (should he be leaving). I think Naingollan would be a perfect for you guys, that's a fucking fact.
