ESPN doesn't constitute a reliable source? ohhhkay ... please continue relying on your hitherto unnamed source instead ...

and the ESPN article is related to locked wages? no, it's related to FFP sanctions overall ...

and no, the mistake isn't with you ... the mistake is with the assertion of locked wages implying that the only way to reduce the wage bill is to sell players, neglecting the room made by contract expirations ...

That mistake is made by your source! How do you manage to weave this complex web of stupidity?

My source was BBC. And no, ESPN is not a reliable source when they use phrase such as "UEFA will reportedly ask PSG to...".

 wow ...

the sanctions haven't officially been given ...

so, does EVERYTHING on this topic fall into "reportedly" since they are based on leaks? yes ...

does the ESPN article mention the 60 million for which you asked a source? yes ...

is *any* assertion that 'a locked wage bill necessitates the sale of players in order to buy' incorrect because it neglects to accommodate for contract expirations? yes ...

The point was that ESPN are not more reliable than other sources on this issues, meaning you are not more in the right than anyone else, therefor you asserting one thing and saying someone else is wrong is, to use your term, laughable.

I dunno what point you're trying to make with the 2nd point.

You used a source that is making a connection which you say is incorrect. This you do in an argument in which you're establishing that your source legitmises your assertions. Note that the connection which you say is incorrect is one that you made, not I, you just assumed I did.

Keep on weaving.

Regardless of UEFA's intentions, I think it will boil down to a fine and warning really

The point record is ours. (H) Osvaldo in the final seconds. Good for him. It wasn't really an enthusiastic effort, I was hoping they'd at least make it a fun afternoon next week getting to 100. Now we just need one more point at the Scudetto festivities to reach 100.

Immobile 22 goals
Berardi 16 goals

Tevez 19 goals
Llorente 15 goals

Food for thought

Hahah yeah. In all seriousness though we better get at least one player to improve the first team, we're so stagnant atm

It's the manager's fault. You have a pretty diverse set of players who could probably play any type of style.

Without fullbacks or wingers, Lichtsteiner and Isla are the only natural players in the squad who can do that, (excluding Pepe) and Isla is crap.

I agree that it should have been rectified much earlier though, and Conte has gotten to comfortable being hardly challenged domestically in 3 consecutive seasons and easily chalking off poor europe results to bad luck

We're linked with Lukaku. Oh man, if this happens!

Not that I have anything agaisnt Lukaku, I just don't understand us not even giving (the homegrown) Immobile a chance instead of just selling him for peanuts and buying a drogba/morata/lukaku

Drogba..ugh. Tbh I wanted Immobile to stay, but Lukaku is three times the player Immobile is. And his potential is huge, the guy will be a 50-60m striker in no time.

Also, it looks like we'll offload Llorente this summer, rumors have it that Valencia could cough up to 20m for him.
