Oh come on, like Marchisio is that bad? I get that Pogba should start ahead of him, and him being injured is a great excuse for Pogba to consolidate his spot, but having Marchisio is certainly not a bad thing!

Yeah is good. Plus having a lot of depth, especially in the midfield is always a great thing. For juve who usually play with three midfielders (Marchisio, Pirlo, Vidal) + their wingbacks.

Edit: and didn't Pogba say in some interview that he'd be happy to play in the Pirlo role somewhere in the future, or was that misinterpreted?

He's better in a more advanced role.

And I'm not saying Marchisio is a bad player, the dude does have strokes of brilliance. He's very good, it's just that Pogba's better. Minor injury, the France kid gets what he deserves, everyone's happy.

Not a bad draw for us. Nice to have a big club to face against like Real Madrid and we should be able to go through to the second round without much trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if Galatasaray steals a couple of points from us but I doubt they'll be able to knock us off to third place.
