Whats the status on Pessotto?
Pessotto 'awake and aware'
Saturday 1 July, 2006

The former Italy defender and recently appointed Juventus Team Manager has undergone three operations since he fell from the window of the club headquarters on Tuesday morning in an apparent suicide attempt.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Doctors confirmed that Gianluca Pessotto opened his eyes today and recognised his family and friends, as fans march through Turin in support.

He has been kept under an induced coma to help him through this difficult time, but was awakened by doctors this afternoon to check on his condition.

“During a window in the sedation period, Pessotto was conscious and interacted with his environment,” read the statement from the Molinette hospital. “He opened his eyes and recognised the people around him, but we need at least another week before declaring him out of danger,” added Doctor Rapellino.

Former colleagues have been rushing to his bedside to show their support, including ex-Juventus hard man Paolo Montero, who flew in especially from Uruguay.

The Bianconeri fans have also cheered on ‘Pesso’ with a march through the city centre. Some of the banners held aloft urged ‘Pesso, wake us up from this nightmare’ and ‘Like Pessotto, I fight on.’

-------------

FORZA PESSO, you can do it!

On the march, I heard Ravanelli and Carrera were there too! Awesome. Does anybody know how much Juventini were marching through Torino?

So now Capello is (99%) gone, who do you guys prefer? Deschamps, Zaccheroni or Donadoni?

I think Deschamps, because I think we could use a guy with a kind personality and with a Juve history. He loves the club and thinks its an extreme honour to be the coach of Juve. We could defenitely use that in the rebuilding process. FORZA DIDIER I say
