J-League? Why not?

I can't understand, if EA is so hell-bent on acquiring the most lucrative licenses for league, why the j-league is not included?

Seems to me, it would be a real cash cow. Is the league previously licensed to another company, or is this Konaimi country, or what?

Personally, I'd love to have it.

It's too bad that EA caters to the industrialized countries with high home computer penetration, so we never get lesser leagues. The thing is, the world is more global and borderless than ever. You might not sell many games in Africa, but how many African soccer fans, or naturalized citizens from Africa, are in Europe and North America? Sales is sales.

I'l love to know how much the licenses cost. For example, I bet you could get a Colo Colo or Al Sadd or Perth Glory for next to nothing.

man stuff the k league no good players what so ever plus ea will get heaps of money from supporters in japan cos the only soccer game they have over there is winning eleven so introducing fifa would be heaps good.

Fifa does get released in Japan. It just does not sell well. the J-League is not on winning eleven either.

oh yeah my bad i forgot they called fifa 2003 "fifa 2003 europe soccer" and had the only few good jap players in europe on the cover. it was dissapointing compared to fifa 2002 which had jap commentary and the japanese team at least.
