So where does it say there will definitely be a PC version? I'm sorry but my Japanese is a bit crap (ok, non existent).

I really hope they do though bud and I hope you're right. I would love Fifa to have some serious competition on the PC.

It's Xbox, not PC.

Anyway, it makes no difference really gameplay-wise... All i needa do is purchase a(of course pirated) PS version of Winning Eleven 6 coming out in late April and run it on my Connetix Virtua Game Station(Emulator). Of course, a release specifically for the PC wouldn't hurt too. More eye candy, probably better gameplay.... Bah I'll still buy WorldCup 2002... but only because I collect the FIFA Series :P

sorry but iss wont be on PC... ****... also ISs is a very poor game, remeber that iss is made by KCEO not by KCET! the ISS for px2,xbox,and gamecube is made by KCEO that make ISS for N64. Iss for PsxOne was made by KCET, KCET also made WInning Elevens for psone and ps2 and PES for ps2!

That link is for information only.
Yesterday KCEO officially announced the title for Gamecube,
so they may announce the PC version in a few days.
Just wait for the official announcement.
NOTE: As the game title is called Jikkyou World Soccer 2002, the PC version may only be released in Japan, or at least be released there first.
Don't mix up with the series "Winning Eleven" or ("Pro Evolution Soccer" outside Japan) from KCET, the guys in KCEO is not good as those in KCET in making soccer game. Therefore don't expect realism in this PC version, may be even worse than FIFA.

OK just to clarify a few things. I have spoken to KCEO (through my Xbox site) about their upcoming Xbox game ISS2, which is confirmed and being released in the not to distant future, about a month or so. They also said that there is NO PC version being released. The ISS series is a console exclusive.

Here is another option to play Iss-Pes on the Pc, it has been mentioned before but here goes.
If you have a TV Card in your Pc, you can play any Ps1=Ps2 console game through the Tv Card with Pc monitor visuals, which eliminates the use of fiddly emulator setups, you use the console controller via the console, and this also eliminates the setups via the emulator, and these Tv Cards can also do movie capture to boot. So for a few dollars you can then play the footie games that are available on the consoles and don't have to wait for any Console to Pc conversions, that will never be released anyway.

If I have a PS2.. I would use a TV. :mambo:
It's bigger and more power/energy saving than PCs.

What ever turns you on guys, but i prefer to play the game through a 21 inch monitor, and could any of you tell me what the difference is on the energy saving factor between a TV set and a Monitor, who knows i might even save a few dollars on the Electricity bill.
