There is a problem when one gk kit has a front number and one doesn'tIf anything, you can just export the GK kit rx3 you want, rename it to kit_12 or something and assign with lua like
assignGKKit(125471,0,{2,12})
assignGKKit(125471,1,{2,12})
assignGKKit(125471,3,{2,12})
In my case, I'm talking about my 2014 World Cup mod. I'd now have to turn all 2014 WC kits into classic kits, when some national teams already have classic kit. Huge mess.the simple way works perfectly
kit_240_0_1985.rx3
kit_240_1_1985.rx3
kit_240_2_1985.rx3
yes in this precise case it's not the same, use year 1914 for the funIn my case, I'm talking about my 2014 World Cup mod. I'd now have to turn all 2014 WC kits into classic kits, when some national teams already have classic kit. Huge mess.
wdym? the game doesn't differentiate themyes in this precise case it's not the same, use year 1914 for the fun
wdym? the game doesn't differentiate them
they're all labeled "Classic Kit"
That's not what I meant. The game does know the year, but it's not displayed in-game.View attachment 129548
here in teamkits table you can set year but in game it will only appear as "Classic Kit", so it doesnt matter the number
i think with this method you can also set an alternate gk kit as classic (i did it for fifa 20/21 so for sure works for fifa 14/16)
yes, thats what i meantThat's not what I meant. The game does know the year, but it's not displayed in-game.
It's not like "Kit 1974" or smth, it's just all "Classic Kit"
the point is to have a kit not displayed by the kit selector other than with the id 2yes, thats what i meant
Is it not easier to just draw the kitnumbers (or lack thereof) on shirts (there are like 2-3 GKs anyway) and assign as individualkits? There is a problem when one gk kit has a front number and one doesn't
I hate drawing numbers on kitsIs it not easier to just draw the kitnumbers (or lack thereof) on shirts (there are like 2-3 GKs anyway) and assign as individualkits?
By hotspots you mean front number positioning?I hate drawing numbers on kits
Finally, I went up with creating kit versions of my gk kits with hotspots for front number zeroed out and used id 30 and 31 (its loaded by Rev Mod by deafult)
hotspots are these 4 coordinates determining where to place number, crest, name etc...By hotspots you mean front number positioning?
(I never understood the term "hotspots" in new FIFAs).
But yes, since those coordinates are linked to the rx3 and not kit entry, two GK kits can have them different it seems, good solution.

I know how classic kits workyes it's only displayed as classic in game, but the gk kits are automatically loaded with the respective year IF only the home and away are added into database teamkit table, gk "classic" with same year can be loaded by the game

You definitely can assign an alternate kit using assignGameKit Speed Test function, but can it be used with classic kits?
I don't like thisIs it not easier to just draw the kitnumbers (or lack thereof) on shirts (there are like 2-3 GKs anyway) and assign as individualkits?
