Is Fifa Manager 2008 the best version?

Hi,

I have played TCM 2005 for years and was going to finally upgrade to 2010 but I keep reading that 09 and 10 have some problems and that the 'best' game in the series is 2008. Would anyone here agree? I don't care about playing with the latest real squads because, lets face it after a few seasons half the player names are made up anyway..

Total Club Manager 2005 is seriously addictive but it has a few faults. like the computer managed teams all try to play 4-3-3 attacking even if it means putting players out of position and its impossible to work out what your budget for transfers is..Also I have been sacked a few times when the season objectives are changed randomly during the course of the season so you think you only need to avoid relelgation but then you see that its changed to 'finish in top half of league' and there aren't enough games left for you to do anything about it. Still, the huge advantage it has over Football Manager is that you can play a whole season over a weekend, even watching all the games... it takes that long just to get through the pre-season friendlies in FM

As there is not going to be a Championship Manager 2011 or possibly 2012 I have just ordered FIFA Manager 10 and would like some information about it please.

How low down the League structure does it go, Is there an Editor - I like to change the names of 4 players to those of my Grandsons, can you share responsibility of running the Club with your staff.

Any tips would be helpful please.
