My prediction was right as well. I'm hoping for the best at Monaco but Forlan will be constant threat. As long as the players just do their thing, Inter will snatch it as well.

Watched your game today and I've come to two very firm conclusions:

1) Samuel Eto'o is a lot more of a complete player than I ever thought. Love him.

2) Diego Milito is an Argentinian Michael Owen. The guy is a poacher plain and simple, and while his year last year was very good, Inter need to cut their ties with him if they want to play well enough to repeat in the Champions League. He just isn't that good and I would bench him if there is ANYONE else (not Coutinho, he's clearly in way over his head) who can play on the attacking midfield line.

Eto'o has come back from the goal form he had when he was in Barcelona and if he can do the same kind of performance for Inter, we will be very strong both internationally and domestically this year as well even with Benitez as coach. Milito hasn't really gotten up to the fantastic form he had last season. Give him some time and we'll see. Overall I'm pleased with what the team has shown with Benitez so far even if I was very sceptic on how his performance in Inter would be, especially after the terrible season he had with Liverpool. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the UEFA Super Cup loss. Worst match played by Inter for a very long time. It looked like the players were lost.

Samu has always been a very complete player, and always gives his 100% ... yes, he's on form at the moment, but don't let all his penalty goals fool you into thinking that he's on a hot goalscoring run; no, it's just that he seems to be more of a creative outlet for this side than he has been before ... but he has yet to face the challenge of top-level defensive organization, so only so much can be read into it all ...

if Moratti was considering selling Maicon coz of his age, I didn't understand how Milito was deemed 'not for sale' ... no one would have expected him to end up with the 2010 Champions League MVP award at this time last year ... and after winning all the plaudits, he'd either have one more good season before time caught up with him, or he'd fail to live up to the historic previous season, and his value (both sporting and financial) would plummet ...

Mourinho made it clear that this team was not one on the build, but one assembled for instant gratification of Moratti's European desires ... and the club have since sold their most talented youth ... just baffling that Moratti hadn't instructed Branca to get a bidding war going for El Príncipe, so that they could have financed a move for someone like Pernando Torres ...

I haven't just taken the latest match into consideration. I've followed his progress even at the pre-season and he has done well, apart from the 2-0 loss against Atlético Madrid but everyone weren't themselves at that match. I'd bet that Benitez wanted to lose so the Spaniards got some glory and extra cash.

Juventus had chances but we had more, and more obvious ones as well. Check it yourself.

Chances only mean something if you can convert them. And I did check it myself, I actually watched the game, you clearly didn't. Juventus had less shots but more of them were on target(8-4) and were just as dangerous as Merda with much less possession.

Juventus went toe to toe and matched Merda all night, countering all they had to throw at us. Juventus actually dominated the majority of the first half until Merda woke up at the end of the half. The second half slowed down a bit and that half was even.

So I will reiterate, draw was a fair result. At least I am objective enough as a Juve fan to realize that. You have your head so buried in Merda that your support for the paper scudetto champs blinds your objectivity.
