Inter Milan Thread

Make America Great Again
Common nicknames? On SG? Want me to poll 10 random people? Give me a break. Common for Inter fans on here is even dubious.

That's suprising that Pupi doesn't show up as Zanetti on google searches, even on wikipedia it directs to him. To be fair Stramaccioni is a pretty long name to write and common to see it written in the press as Strama (just like Fergie for Ferguson). Palito though was hard for me to figure out...

It's been a very open, sloppy and entertaining game.
that about sums the match ...

happy for Cassano; getting on the scoresheet against Roma will mean a lot to him, even if he got very lucky with that deflection ...

Strama played an interesting combination down the left, with Pereira and Nagatomo consistently swapping their fullback and midfield roles ... Palito did alright, hugging the touchline, and looking for Milito in the box ... he overhit each of his first ten crosses, but he and his radar will get calibrated soon enough ...

Guarín is a very frustrating player to watch ... he'll brilliantly spin away from 3-4 opposition players; then he'll get carried away, try to do more, and end up giving the ball away ... he also needs to be a LOT more effective with shooting at goal, coz this Inter team will need goals from midfield ...

once Samuel and Handanović, the defence will look a little better too ...

^^ Indeed. Guarin is undisciplined and lacks the concentration to play off his teammates. You'll be singing his praises one breath and wanting him to get a dick up the ass the next.

Unfortunately, Samuel is over the hill and we've been horrendous defending collectively so far.

Yoss is back in the Inter thread? excellent ... no Heroic Zlatan at Inter to discuss nowadays, man, but hopefully Fantantonio (an assist today, I heard) can fill that void ...

LOL. Appreciate the kind words, brother.

I thought most of the defensive deficiencies were on Silvestre. Ranocchia looked pretty solid almost like when he was at Bari with that guy whose name I've forgotten.

Surely the fact in the past he accused juventus players of doping is nothing related to this love

Another underwhelming player, Bonucci.

Cassano with a goal or assist in each league game, no matter if he starts or comes on ... keep it going, Fantantonio! (Y)

yes, but surely the most important thing is that Cassano keeps scoring/assisting? :-D

no worries, man ... Strama's team is yet to stabilize, and the strongest XI is yet to be established ... Gargano looked great when he came on, Nagatomo did well, Pupi Zanetti is an automatic starter, Cuchu Cambiasso used to be, Guarín's skill in central midfield is essential, and I'd like to keep Palito Pereira as carillero -- basically even I am not 100% decided on how I'd juggle the midfield/fullback options ... but it's a good problem to have ... not the same problem in central defence, sadly ... luckily Handanović is there to try pull a Casillas when needed ...

as for the San Siro hoodoo this season: Milan have snapped it! so that's that with that ... yea ...
