My prediction for this match....

;)

Adriano had 3 weeks to get a (real) goal, but failed, so he still doesnt have his confidence back. Porto really couldnt meet Inter at a better time, theyve looked awful since (and during) the Milan derby. With Cordoba out a backline duo of the speedy pair of Mihaljovic and Materazzi could be a disaster, hopefully Burdisso gets a shot. Coco looked awful against Lazio, so Ze Maria will step in for suspended Favalli. VDM has been great everytime hes played this season, he deserves this start.

Lucky if Vieri even plays

Inter 2 Porto 1

Adriano, Martins

Benni

Going to be a real test for Inter with 2 of their top defenders out through suspension (Favalli, Cordoba)

Need Cambiasso and C. Zanetti to hold down the midfield and have , Veron, and STINKovic to have a good game and provide the strikers with some goodness...

I would rather see Andy Van Der Meyde play then Stinkovic, but Mancini seems to know whats better:kader:

Porto just had their biggest defeat in 20ish years at home.

0 - 4 to Nacional

I have to think that, all factors aside, Inter simply have the abundance of talent to get this done. Does anyone think Van der Meyde or Emre will play? or i guess what im asking, is what is inter's current midfield/winger arrangement?

Mancini likes to play Veron and Stankovic playing as wingers, with Cambiasso and C. Zanetti in the middle locking things up.

Because of his poor current form I would like to see Van Der Meyde in for Stankovic, but Mancini still insists to keep VDM on the bench, and have stankovic make horrible finishes and bad passes

I hope Mancini gets his head out of his unexperienced ass and plays van der Meyde for once.

Porto will win 2-1 and go through. Porto will be determined to erase the memory of their last league game. McCarthy can score anywhere at anytime, if he's in the game then Porto will always have a chance.

Three options:

1) We still haven't gotten that 4-0 out of our system and will get slaughtered like a little lamb -> Inter to go through

2) Both being in a bad form we end like we began: 0-0 -> Inter to go through

3) We finaly get back on track (before the second Chelsea game we also played a horrific league game) and will get a decent result -> Porto to go through

Oh goody, how I look forward to this game /sarcasm :(

After last friday's performance how confident are we, uh? (Y) :f***: :kader:

First off, I've seen 10 games from both legs of this CL stage and one thing seems obvious: neither of these teams deserves to advance. Any of the quarter-finalists could smash Inter or Porto tomorrow easily.

So what happens when 2 :drevil:teams:drevil: with good players in bad form can do to each other? Can't wait to see it.
I honestly think Porto will come through with a draw, probably 2-2 in OT.
