Well I think before it actually happened I would have preferred a boy, but I have a feeling it's actually a girl - I'll be really happy either way.
Honestly my only concern right now is that he/she comes out healthy - and Liz comes through it okay
Mind you, if it's a boy it could play for United!

Apparently she's just corrected me, the 12 week scan doesn't confirm our baby's sex - that's the 20 week one. All this new stuff to learn!
Just for your info, you can actually know the sex by 12 weeks sometimes. But most of the time its apparent on Ultrasound by 16-20 weeks. You'll be able to hear his/her heartbeat through doplers ultrasonography by around 16-20 weeks. She/he will start moving by around 20 weeks. These are stuffs I learnt during my Obs/Gyne course at uni.
Speaking of mindblowing, Liz had her first scan yesterday it was simply the most amazing experience of my life, seeing our baby for the very first time is something that will stay with me forever. Apparently it appears normal, and it certainly was determined to put on a show for us - wriggling about all over the place. Until the sonographer tried to scan it for the photo - then apparently the baby had had enough and turned it's back to her.
So it takes after Liz in the awkward stakes then OW! (She just hit me for that one )
