Hi, Yes, I get the error for any kit. Is this program compatable with XP? Do you require a specific version of DirectX and/or .Net?

I have Dx version - 9.0C and .net Framework 4.

Thanks again,

Yes, the program was fully tested on XP sp3.
Kit manager was developed with vs10, compiled under 3.5 .net Framework
and the two external libraries used for 3d graphic require
DirectX 9.

Somebody experiments problem with upgraded versions of DirectX...
but is not fully clear how and when... (sorry for bad translaction
from italian)...

Many issues are related to the installed version of the slimdx runtimes.
Kit Manager does not require the installation of runtimes...
but if other programs (texture editor for example) have registered the dll in the system gac you may experience compatibility problems.

I posted instructions in the past to circumvent the problem,
is not so easy to explain clearly in Italian...
in english is even more difficult!!

Hi guys!

First of all, I thank all of you who have downloaded and tried my work.

I apologize for my broken English...
despite this, I hope to help you to solve at least some
of the problems that you have encountered.

A premise: it has become difficult to build a program that works
correctly on all architectures (32/64 bit) and operating systems.
Is even harder prevent errors that may occur because of the dozens
of anti-virus programs that limit (and in some cases completely inhibiting)
access to files and folders in the (so-called) system paths...
It could do this a professional and... sorry but, I'm not!

You will solve most of the problems, if you run the software with
administrator privileges (@Raindog42, @Inieto).
I would say that this procedure has become essential to run succesfully
almost all of the utility programs of the fifaweb: obviously,
first, you must control exe files with a good antivirus program!

@BFK
@ramos25
I think your problems are originated from the fact that the program fails to
read/write files in some folders. You may verify that the paths where
you get the errors are not write-protected (all fifa files must not be "read-only").

@tobi_KKS
@Relo4ded11
In theory, the KitManager can already work with database modified...
(I do that, and in Italian it would not be so hard to explain how!!)
Of course we must ensure that the program will access tables
("teams" and "teamkits" ) extracted from this new database
in place of those that are dealt.
I'm working hard to build some vb routines that allow me to interface
directly to the database currently installed in the game,
so you can easily add the missing kits and install
those of the new teams added.
I hope it will be ready for the end of next January!

@john_macerone
This little program runs perfectly on Seven 64bit!
Someone have experienced problems with Vista64...
As I explained about the Regenerator, unfortunately,
I haven't any direct way to test on this platform, sorry!

@HSVBalti
it would be awesome if you'd enable to import more than 4 kits[\quote]
You should be able to do ...
if you continue to experience this error, please describe it better,
so I can find a solution or fix the error in a future release. Thank you!

Well, I hope at least to have been of help to someone.

I wish you all the best for Christmas.
now I go to rehearse with the children's choir
that i have the good fortune of directing! It's great!

See you in the new year! :biggrinx:

iam sorry to bother yall thanks for the program and the help youve been giving to everyone, you mention the problem that @BFK might be having is due to permition and that all the files have to be read only i tried changing the checks in the read and write boxes on the fifa folder properties but i only end up messing everything up and had to reinstall the game can you please tell me how exactly should i put the checks in the boxes so the program runs ok?? thanks::

I get this error as soon as I first open and run the program. I click the button and the program closes. Any help on what the problem might be and how to fix it would be great.

Are you guys able to import 3072 x 3072 size kits using this tool?

I can import 3072x3072 size kits using this program, but if I close down the program and open it again the kits are resized to 1024x1024... I don't know why...

Does anyone know what's wrong?

That's the normal program behaviour unfortunately: it resizes pics to default value 1024x1024...
