IMO not a great deal, handballs on we8i, and seems a little more fluid. I personally have both but prefer to play we8i.

i am not sure if you can find it in a UK shop because it is the USA version of PES. Just try google. Or search this forum

The wolf patches are for WE8i and PES4, search the forum for links. You can only playonline with other WE8i users, using peslauncher you will be able to find lots of people to play.

From that, I gather that although they are esentially the same game, PES4 users can't play with WE8i users.
However, WE8i is ever so slightly (hardly noticeably) better than PES4.

WE8i is 2 player isn't it?

It's just a shame that PES4 players can't play against WE8i players online.
Is it like the EA FIFA online play where PS2 can play against Xbox or PC online?

Its probably pes4 in the UK at the mo, but alot of people have both now. I only play online with WE8i and i have no shortage of people to play. I agree though would be great to be able to play cross platform.
I think konami rushed the net side of this game a little, so maybe we'll see this in PES5

buy we8i, it's much smoother than pes and it has got a better responsiveness and some minor improvements
