I called EA Europe about 360 game.

Yep, I was on the phone to EA this very morning (Chertsey UK HQ). The gentleman I spoke to wouldn't give me much info that isn't out but he did clear a few points;

1: The Marketplace demo is not a reflection of the final product, merely a "taster". Hence no commentary etc. It was also probably an early build too.

2: Because of this, the rep expects FIFA07 360 to have tricks and flicks (whether or not via the "trick stick" he didn't specify) He didn't say they weren't there.

3: The game is slated for 27th October as advertised.

hes a dumb **** because its next gen and if 07 on cruddy PC and PS2 have tricks then why wouldnt the 360 have tricks thats like going backwards befor the first proper footie game is released on 360?

I'd trust an official EA Rep over some random Admin on their forums, who has made a fair few mistakes in the past, I may add.

But it wouldn't surprise me if there was no tricks in the game. There is still hope, though.

That is ture. If you look at the sticky threads on that forum, he's had to correct and negate a fair amount of statemens he's made in the past. He's far from being the definitive word on FIFA features and updates. The demo for both current gen and next gen is an example, he had no clue when they were going to be released and they were up and available before he even knew anything about it.

hes crap on EA Cricket he came out with loads of weird info on how its not coming out or he hasnt heard anything and the equivilant of a Cricket game forum like this had lloads of info befor he heard !!!

from what i have heard the games pretty good without the tricks id love to play the demo im not online via xbox 360 wish one of the mags would have it be great
