SimIT! Stadiums Convertion

Thanks Guys! I think that’s the problem, it has more than 100 objects, and Ctrl+J is not working, one of the parts looses the texture mapping. I manage to solve the problem but now another object, less relevant, is bright, but I will see what I can do.

@gonzaga and @saul.silva , I ve seen in your stadiums that you have more than one stad_Alpha groups, what’s the idea behind it? Is there a limit on each group? How can I define which object goes to which group?
Yes, that is it, I usually when don't manage to solve it sacrifies the fencings and some small objects, unfortunatelly heheheh.

I want to know too how to select the groups, I usually just use one stad_Alpha, the stad_MainStadium and the stad_Pitch_NoShadowCast, but in some stadiums where I converted or edited from FIFA 14 or FIFA 16, when already there are the others Alpha groups, I don't change them, however, in stadiums made by me I just use these 3 groups for the objects (don't including the Banners, Jumbotron...)

stad_Exterior, for example, I don't know what is the difference between using an outside object in this group or in the stad_MainStadium

Ah, it is because the roof mesh face direction points the pitch. If you want the roof to be visible it has to be with duplicated meshes with opposite face directions.
another issue that i found on your stadiums are those shadows on the crowds...the best example is on Estadio Nacional de Chile but there are some other stadiums...do you know what causing this issue?

Yes, merging objects with same material name (respectively they share same textures) is an option. I faced this problem only with few Nintendo switch German stadiums. Sometimes the problem was in some transparent ambient textures.
As for the Alpha groups I don't know exactly why they are more than one sometimes. Once I put some objects in the Exterior group and durring play I couldn't see the exterior objects for some reason. Definitely putting objects in various stad_ groups makes sense most of the time, but I have never explored what is the purpose of each one of them.

Hi Humberto and all the stadium experts here;

I'm doing own fantasy edits on the Ajinomoto stadium published by Humberto for my career (can share it if ever someone's interessted).

Everything is fine except a light bug i noticed in a corner of the pitch. As you can see in the video below, in this area the player becomes weirdly bright and the shadows very dark. I'm not sure that it was there on the version released by Humberto, maybe i messed it up with editing or something went wrong when exporting the stadium?

If i remember well, Gonzaga once said it comes from an incomplete uv map but i can't find the post again. I have basic knowledge with blender and i have no idea how to modify an uv map. I found both map 0 and map1 for the pitch part but i can't display nor modify the maps. May i ask how to solve this? Its a detail but its annoying. Thanks in advance.

Hey mate, I just checked and I have the same problem. I know that is not an ambient problem and I learn from other PES2021 that I'm converting that if we convert the dds files coming from the original stadium into png we solve a lot of this problems. I wont be able to fix right now, but If you want do that and see the result let me know.

Maybe you're right. If I backed the stands as one single object or two it may result in this. It happens for FIFA 16, but in FIFA 14 I don't have this problem.

If you used adboards or banners from another stadium, see if they have dds textures or png. If the textures are dds, convert them to png and replace. Another reason for that could be bad lightmap. Usually those are objects that are round or unusual shape and can't be unwraped properly in blender for a good baking.

I've baked all the stands from Fernando Torres as one object and i didn't have this type of problem..the only issue i had was on the official lodge with sone black points..i posted the problem in questions and answers thread...maybe i will try to rebake the stands from Nacional de Chile to see if i have the same problem after

Hey everyone! One off topic question, but it concerns FIFA 16 in general. What happened to FIFA 16 in Origin? It seems not playable there. It's not even in Origin anymore. How do you keep playing it?

gonzaga

Reserve Team
I dont know. I always open Origin and mine is in offline mode because of patches.
Do you have an idea what those Annual memberships mean in Origin. Do they mean that you don't buy the game, but you can play for and year when your membership will expire. And to play again you have to re-new you membership?

Same here with origin opened in offline mode and the wifi turned off when the game is running and i had no problem (knock on wood). Try to go offline if you have trouble to launch the game.

Many thanks to both for your tips on the Ajinomoto stadium, i will try the dds to png method and see if it works. Yes Gonzaga, i appended some objects from other stadiums, i will check this also.

And feel free to publish mate if you solve or add anything that makes the stadium better, no problem at all.
