HI BIG problem

win ME, sidewinder gamepad pro

with and without the drivers from the cd i have no problem assigning the buttons .... button 9 (big one next to controller = shift) named START .... so far no problem but in the game START is also used as PAUSE (=esc on keybord) ...

in fifa 2002 assigning button 9 UNassigned the pause funktion (at least without installing the SW drivers).. but now its just double assigned!!! (pause and wanted funktion)

i really dont know what to do!! .. really hope to get responses...

ANYTHING that can solve this sidewinder pro problem would be real wonderful!!!!!

Mate, there has been several querys in here before about the Microsoft Gamepads, some of em configure ok, some of em don't, and the problem is that there are now a few more versions of the Pro Gamepad that have less buttons on them than the first Pro Gamepad, the Freestyle and the very first issue of the Pro series seem to work ok, but the newer ones have problems, about the button configs and the mapping problems, if i remember correctly, there was a mention about that in here before and i think that you had to config the keyboard to the same config as your gamepad, reset the Pc and then keep your fingers crossed and hope that it works. Oh man, the 'magic' of the Fifa games.
