fifa 2002 and windows xp

Someone please tell me, ONCE AND FOR ALL, is it impossible to run FIFA 2002 on Windows XP???

If it's possible, please tell me how.

thanks.

And if this fails, can you tell me if FIFA 2003 and/or FIFA 2004 have cool Creation Centres where you can invent players and teams, cos that's what I REALLY miss about FIFA 2002.

if you dont want fifa 02 get 03 because fifa 04 is pish! the GFX suck, the crowd sounds like ya making chips in a deap-fat fire!!! and the gameplay......no funny. 03 came with an EA creation centre and there is FCDB XP and dbi editors and so on. 2002 has FCDB and Fed 2002 by the way, there quite good.

Hi guys,

Good news, yesterday, I have succeeded in playing Fifa 2002 with Windows XP home and a 2,4 GB CPU
I can explain what you have to do for those who have an Intel Pentium 4 and a P4P800 motherboard
When the screen is loading, press DEL and you 'll be directed to the BIOS section ( blue screen)
In the BIOS menu, choose " advanced " ( 2nd left on top )
Then go to " JumperFree Configuration "
Then choose AI Overclock Tuner ( set it to MANUAL )
Then you should have appearing
CPU External frequency ( MhZ)
Lower the value of the CPU ext.frequency from 200 to 100
Last step save and Exit
And now you should be able to play Fifa 2002
From what I've read, this operation cannot damage your comp.
And you can always go back to the original settings
But take my advice at your own risk
Hope it works for you too

Cheers,

JM

I've got a Pentium 4 2.8GHz CPU running on a P4P800 Deluxe motherboard, maybe it'd work for me too. I'll try it later.
