How to fix freezing when ending or quiting games

Take the chants.big from the fifa06/data folder and put it into the fifa06/data/audio folder works perfectly. Enjoy fifa 06 now.

Don't know how your chants.big got in the data folder in the first place but it has always been located in the data\audio folder from the start (on my version anyway), did you have two chants.big files?

it was in the fifa06/data for me from the beginning. i have the pc-cd version.

Then I suspect something has gone wrong with the US American version production process (you live in the US right?) as in my version (European version zone Benelux, Germany, Italy, France and UK) the chants.big was already located where it should (fifa06/data/audio).

If that is the case it is almost unbelieveable that EA didn't immediatly create a patch correcting the problem for their US customers, or at least notify how to correct the problem yourself, incredible!
