For what I know ( I'm French but I've been downloading files from this polish site ) the translation of download is PROBIERZ...
There is only one file I think, where you have to register...If you want to download the MPPL ( polish league )...That means if you are not from Poland or understand polish you have no chance :kader:
Thank God, Polish league will be in Fifa 06 so we don't need to look after the work of this guys
The same is happening with the brasilian site Fifamania Brasil...
They release for ex. the big patch America with many many teams from South America...Now you have to PAY for it...you have to send a little amount of money at a brasilian bank ...so once again , foreign people are excluded
I call this racism or bastardy
:kader:
I myself be a roster patch maker ( for sweetpatch ;) ) I would never have the idea to make a "Pay Patch"
I 'm already pissed off when I need to register to download something !!!!!!!
So red cards for all these behaviours !
The community is getting worse and worse each years with all these guys looking for their own glory...
Maybe it's time for me to leave the scene
:nape:

Someone should inform EA about this, since it is illegal to charge for anything of this kind, as it would infringe EA's copyright of the game.

You may include materials created with the Tools & Materials on your personal noncommercial website for the noncommercial benefit of the fan community for EA's products, provided this is beneficial to the product(s) in EA's judgment

Taken from the EA Official website about FIFA 06 demo, I am sure the same pretty much applies to the full game (FIFA 06) and also previous versions. So if they try to make any commercial benefit out of EA's products, i.e. making patches for FIFA, then they have violated the agreement. The full agreement can be found at:

mmm, I don't think they want to make some benefit with that... they ask for a little contribution ....
what makes me sad is this way of acting...it's a bad example for the community because other websites will be tempted to do so...

and the thing with the registering is also boring...I would eventually accept it for the forums but not for the downloads zone

I think they are not allowed to accept money for a patch. Fullstop. You can advise people to donate money to the site before downloading the patch, but if they do not offer a link where you dont need to donate money, then they are charging for the patch and they are no longer doing it as a non-commercial website.
