How to change fonts on FIFA 11...

While browsing Texture Editor on my fifa 11 i stumbled on the jersey font files in data3.big When I extracted them I saw that they were in True Type Font file extension. Somehow I decided to play around with it and try to replace it with an authentic font :-)

And it worked. :33vff3o:

Open Texture Editor and open the data3.big.

In the search box type in ".tff"

About 21 fonts should appear.

When working on it I chose Tigres (ID: 1970) They choose font number four.

Extract font_4.

Go into the extracted folder in the fifa 11 folder (will post specifics later. posting on my dads computer)

On my windows font list I have the adidas Unity font. So I copied the file to the fifa 11 folder where the extracted font is located.

Delete font_4 and rename the new font "font_4"

Run FIFA 11. The jersey font should now be in the new font.

Try it out and comment :)

Will try to post screens when I get back on my computer later in the day

However for some reason when I try to take a screenshot of fifa 11 I just get a gray screen when I paste. :(

Will use a camera for right now.

You're absolut right man, and it gets even better. You can put any ttf font you want in this jerseyfonts folder and name it, for example, font_50.ttf. Assign it for any team in DB11, and it'll work! Now you can have a lot of different fonts for different teams. Man, it's a great discover, thanks for that! (Y)

In DBM there are three columns for font color: jerseyfontr (red values) jerseyfontg (green values) and jerseyfontb (blue values). So basically any color in the spectrum can be used (Y)

Well, it's done! Font number 51...



It works very good with bigger names, I don't like how the fonts look with short names...but it's much better than generic fonts!

Yes man, I think we can chat about it, because it's a lot of work, and only you and me making the fonts. I think we could avoid repetition, and try to share information about the fonts. Right now I'm converting all my FIFA10 work.

ok, I have all fonts of the mexican league and I make for 2 italian teams; we will have to create a list of equipment that are most important and distribute the work, I hope find good images to make :D

Man, give me a help, I have search the FONTS NAMES COLOR but, the numbers NO. Where is the table to change the FONTS NUMBERS color?
