How To Add Faces For Youth Academy Players Tutorial

For years I've ignored the scouted players and regens in career mode because I can't stand looking at the generic fifa faces. PROBLEM SOLVED!

First things first you'r going to need to know your players number and the id of the team hes on.
Now go into your documents/FIFA 15/0/FIFA15
Inside this folder are your saved squads, online squads, personal settings, and your career saves only problem is none of the folders are labeled coherently. So this works best if you only have one career save because then you can narrow it down to the folder with a DATA file in it thats 6,613KB. REMEMBER THIS FOLDER
Now open Interal Master go to file and open your EA/FIFA 15/data/db and click on fifa_ng_db-meta.xml when the second prompt comes up thats when you select the career data you previously found.
Once Internal Master loads up go to DB2 and click on teamplayerlinks, now scroll down until you find your teams ID, look for your player jersey number and take note of his player ID. My scouted players id was 280113

HARD PARTS OVER

now go find a player face, I took a Kevin Strootman I had downloaded and rename the face head hair files so its head_(your players id)_0.rx3
so mine looked like this
face_280113_0_0_0_0_0_0_0_0_textures.rx3
hair_280113_0_0.rx3
hair_280113_0_textures.rx3
hairlod_280113_0_0.rx3
head_280113_0.rx3

Place all the files inside the correct sceneassets folder and regenerate.

Now play career mode with scouted players and don't cringe when the camera zooms in on his face

Cool, this is something I was interested in too but never got into it. But I don't know about replacing faces with a specific face. I was thinking about using a texture from one player, hair and head models from two others. It mightn't look great, but it will look better than generics. Plus every face will be varied rather than just copying real players. Thanks for the info!

I just used one for testing doesn't really matter what face you use and yes anything looks better than the generics. I play "vanilla" fifa on the weekends at a buddies house and its honestly embarrassing. I don't think I'd buy fifa without the editing community.

Thanks for testing this out mate. I wanted to check this personally, but now that you've confirmed this, it makes things a lot easier.

This should work, make sure you've regenerated the .big files in that folder.
