the movie showed nothing what we wanted to be improved. I say the high passes, headers, through balls, positioning of players, etc.. where all not shown.

I agree, though I stand by my claim of predictable A.I that was ALL FIFA games and will surprise me if FIFA 2004 changes that, as it WILL be based off the 2003 code, so I WOULD expect scripted play. All football games are scripted, it's just that KCET hides it with deep animations and A.I depth and difficulty, great stuff!

yeah nick,,,i cand say anything bad before i see decent movie and demo... i cant say it sux becuase it is EARLY ALPHA AND ONLY 1 minute MOVIE! and they have a lot of time to improve game, they have full 5 months! come one EA , suprise us with amaiznig gameplay, we dont want 100 stadiums, we dont want license, we want G A M E P L A Y !!!

True, I didn't see much of that...but it doesn't mean it's not there and again despite what I and you say we can only hope that more and more will be added to the depth of the A.I, animations and difficulty to make SURE that we're happier then what we were with FIFA 2003, not even that, I want gggrrrrrrEEEAAAAT gameplay but I feel FIFA 2008 might offer that and I'm not judging this from the video, it's just that to have a game as bugged as FIFA 2003 and as easy as 2003 with crap predictable play you wonder if EA can take most of that away! :(

I wouldnt say Konami games are scripted... when a cross goes into the box someone doesnt get it because its scripted... they get becuase their positioning, ther offense rating, heading stats etc... etc.. its all %

all games have to be scripted.. the problem is that in fifa you know it is.. and in WE you have more freedom and more solutions to the same play

and if we got amaizing graphics and gameplay similar fifa 2003 will you buy fifa?

well the graphics cant be worse than in 2003. And i thought those were amazing already.
If the gameplay rocks, I dont care about the graphics unless they are utter crap like in fifa 95:crazyboy:

a good example of scripted gameplay in fifa2003.
Sometimes when you pass the ball goes through the legs of the receiving player. And suddenly all other players just stand still and the receiving player runs after the ball and you can't control him.:kader:
