I'm not feeling good. It's just like fifa2003, the ball's movement still has none reality, especially when it is in the player's control !

It's not like fifa 2003. The ball physics have totally changed and the graphics have changed a little.

Fifa 2004 is going to be good as this is still only the beta.(H)

i think theyve actuall done the right thing for once and started devolping it straight after the last one so we can see what they've got and have time to alter after our feedback. I just hope it gonna be good and not just little engancements from the last version, ihope theyve actually done something with it his time.

Nope, it's all the same plus they didnt play a high balls at all. And I don't like the way players change their direction.

well actually this direction changig looks pretty much the same as in PES. There is no perfect game in the world it is impossible, but FIFA is going good way. :rockman:

yes, hehe, fifa is always not like its last version, but always not like real football. I hope this time they will do better.

Still will lack basic soccer fundamentals,.... EA will catch up with Konami at some point.. but IMO still a waste of 50 bucks. 50 bucks = 2 weeks of enetertainment, 2 weeks tops to get the worst team in the game, and take them to the top on world class level.. doesnt seem worth it to me.

Oh I wont, and I wont. Feel free to waste 50 bucks :).

The video is no different then 2003, ball control stinks, stop and turn back on a dime and the ball rolls 5 yards ahead of you, all the while stuck to that player.. scripted. Oh boy scripted gameplay online!!

Oh yeah, my bad... Bad scripted gameplay, online..... only if you wanna pay :) nah WE6 FE for me, the cpu players make for a better game then a human controled team in 2003, or even 2004 I bet.

well...

I believe the shooting is still too easy looking at where the powerbar was and where the shot nearly dipped in. :(

I believe that the pitch size looks better (bigger) and the overall play seems smoother and the animations look better.

The ball control I'm not sure about, it does look harder to control the ball though.

The graphics are better, sharper and rounder, makes players' look more THERE! :)

I think overall it is way to early to tell, I hope 2morrow will give us all the information we want, that being if EA are honest with their answers. :rolleyes:

Forget the graphics.. they dont matter. Animations in my opinion have made things worse since 2001. All these motion captured animation made for rediculously scrptted game play... all the crap in 2002 and WC 2002.. the minute you seem a motion capture animation start, you knew what the result of the play would be, IE saving the ball from going out of bounds, fighting for the ball, all the animations became predicatble... EA is going about it ALL wrong. they need to start over.

I agree actually, their game is VEEERY predictable in terms of animation and AI, EVERY game you play you've seen before and it's crap, lets hope they add more depth as this video is early :)

Personally, I think they'll please many here in this forum, where as I this year am going to take a lot more to be pleased and usually I'm more happy waiting for the game rather then playing it, which gives me the oposite and I don't think EA want that, so they better improve their game :kader:

It looks as if they are and like I said this movie is from early alpha. Let us pray my fellow FIFA players'! lol. :crazyboy:

come one nick, it is 1 minute movie, we cant say anything bad because there was no CPU it was 1on1 we want some decent movies full match ... where user play vs CPU !!! I HOPE WE WILL GET THEM SOON! :p :rolleyes:

I'm afraid I think we ALL know the answer to that! :rolleyes: Sorry but it is just true, EA can improve their game a lot, but KCET are light years ahead in terms of player control and A.I. EA are light years ahead in licensing and graphics. :(

EA need a balance of them both! :D
